I can't say I'm disappointed because I never had any high expectation about this book. Didn't like the style, one of the chapters was so boring... and it felt like... something was missing through the whole book. Maybe because it separated the whole story of her carreer and the story of her life and we always miss the other part of it (you read about the carreer and miss reading about her life at the same time and when you read about her life you miss reading about her carreer at the same time because these are all linked).I loved the last chapters, especially the ones about the future, her plans, about a new day and mostly about the recent stuff.Whatever Celine says it's charming and she is a brilliant woman. I laughed and cried along and it was too much fun and emotional but I just so sorry the book really isn't the kind of books I like to read. I'd never buy it if it wasn't for Celine.It's just a matter of personal taste. I loved all the pics, especially the one with Rene holding that cake on his last day of chemeoterapy.Also loved all the pics with RC, those are adorable. I loved the one of Celine inside the car's trunk LOLOLOLOLOh, the pic with Nadia Comaneci was like WOW. My two favourite ladies in the world! I found out while browsing a chapters/indigo site last night that some stores here in Toronto, Canada actually had copies in stock so naturally, I rushed over there today during my break and purchased myself a copy... I have to say, I LOVE IT!!! Definitely worth every penny and the wait... Although I was every bit as aggravated and confused as many of the other ppl on this forum... Hope you all get your copy soon! Well, this book looks very impressive.But it's for sure for those who previously had read any other book about Celine. Not for the begginer. IMOAnd as one of my friend said, I also think Celine opens too much of her personal thing in it. Is anything there that should be kept just for the family or only for the closest people? Only for the couple? Like those letters to Rene from Amsterdam and Germany. And many other things like that.Sometimes it scares me how many personal things were revealed in it.And I don't understand the purpose of being way too much opened. P.S. Rene's topless picture: well I must say I couldn't imagine so much hair on him.
