At the 2nd Pretoria gig.... they eliminated one costume change & Céline was on-stage SINGING "We Will Rock You" (instead of being backstage, changing costumes)!! :D She also sang a bit of IDAN to create a nice crossover from the intro video to her entrance on stage..omg..that's great!! I'd love to see Celine singing IDAN...I wanna do the "steering-wheel-move" so bad. (16th) I did not go to the one on the yesterday coz I was already in Durban FA and SOL was AMAAAAAZZZZING !!!! Jane, thank you for your hard work and effort! I cannot wait for the preview! And as Jane said, the show that took place on Saturday, February 16, was entirely live! So that means that the songs she performed were not lipped... Are some people happy now? I am not attempting to instill a sense of derision, but come on... Some people are complaining and saying that Celine has been lip synching based on unfounded allegations on a video of no more than 1 minute and a half in duration. In fact, the snippet of It's All Coming Back To Me Now sounded very much live. Aside from the performances on some television shows, I never had the impression that Celine lipped, even in Las Vegas. Maybe I am just being naive because I love Celine, but I usually pick up on the smallest and insignificant details of things, to the largest and noticeable. My point is this: Now that Jane has told us that the show in Pretoria on Saturday was entirely live, nobody has yet to made a comment on that statement. Yet a possible untrue allegation is made meant to perhaps demean Celine's abilities, and the commotion spreads like wild fire. I am completely confident in Celine and the choices she makes. Further, I am not attempting to create controversy. I will not make any future postings on this matter. I haven't listened to the bootlegs but am a bit surprised by everyone's lack of comments on Celine's voice as All Holy Seb says. For so long we've been wining about lipping and now apparently she's live and incredible. WHAT DOES SHE SOUND LIKE?? Exactly, stevo, seems like ppl LOVE to trash her for her lipping the Vegas medley but once they get to hear an actual live performance that defines a new vocal standard, shows off the rocky Céline, shows everything what she is about, they prefer to keep silent and listen to the newest Mariah single that while popular proves that witch needs computer to sustain even the smallest note. Céline sounds absolutely as ravishing as she looks. Spectacular opening number that fits in the concert message perfectly: She really got music in her and it shows. I made a comment regarding this topic yesterday. Though I said I was not going to comment further on the matter, I wanted to say that I am glad there are sensible people who noticed the same thing I did. Thank you. Quote
