Both Celine & Mariah have made amazing accomplishments in their fields and at this stage I bet neither of them care nearly as much as their fans do about about out-selling each other. They seem to have respect for each other. It remains to be seen if this song will catch on enough to make it to number 1 as a lot of people weren't expecting a mid-tempo release as a first single. Most were expecting a club banger and some people were like huh? when they first heard it. But the track definitely grows on you and in my opinion is worthy of #1. Only time will tell.

it's not actually her fans who cares about her charts possition. it's mimi herself. because GLITTER & CHARMBRACELET was a huge flops of her carreer, she never mention it on her interviews and never sang the songs on it. when she's talking about future plans of doing another movie, it seems like she's cursing her own movie because it was a big disappointment. she also didn't included any of her songs in CB album on her latest dvd.

so sad she's really focusing on getting another #1 single everytime she releases a new album.

It's obvious that you have a more favorable opinion of Mariah and you know what, I don't take it against you!
