I think the real problem is people don't want to see her live all that much...especially when she isn't live, and when you think about it, she doesn't actually have that large a catalogue of real hits that could make a hits tour really good.

Carey does has many hits in America. But even the American audience have not much interest to see her live.

Yeah, someone told me she was more of a star in USA than anywhere else...I still don't think she has had as many hits as Barbra, Céline, Madonna or someone like that, and she doesn't have the stage presence of Bette Midler or someone like that to do a cover show...or any show other than her singing her own songs.
