Maybe they cut IYA because Barnev doesn't sound so good singing it lol

No because 1) he sounds good 2) they didnt cut the soul medley that he sings 3) they can autotune his Voice like they do for celine. So it's not that! It think that maybe this tracklist is not the full one or maybe they cut i'm your angel because There are too many songs

Some people just can't be satisfied and will always find a reason to be negative. Quit focusing on what ISN'T included. What about the fact that we are getting a 3hrbehind the scenes look and two seperate concerts from TCWT! Hell, that's like Christmas and my birthday wrapped into one!

 

I agree Edwin, if all this is going to be released (has the french DVD been confirmed??), this is more than what I would have imagined from Sony I'm still rubbing my eyes for the CD version of 19 tracks of the concert

 

But again, I won't raise my hopes completely until I see the official announcements and all the stuff with my own eyes

 

Sometimes it isn't always about quantity, but about quality. The term "less is more" applies here. I believe without a doubt that a CD of the tour with less than 19 tracks, but that includes the remixed version of "I'm Alive" and Celine's rendition of "The Show Must Go On" would be cohesively better than a 19 track album that includes a (to some) random soul medley and the same medley of songs ("The Power Of Love"/"It's All Coming Back To Me Now"/"Because You Loved Me"/"To Love You More") found in "A New Day...".

Well on the plus side, I suppose we get to have the new recordings of these old songs on CD.

 

But I definately agree with you on IA and TSMGO - they could have easily cut out the soul medley to put these in instead!

I am waiting for the release on May 10th so I can buy the deluxe edition. And I'm going to buy the french and english one.

I don't have a Blu Ray player (yet) I'm waiting for them to release a Blu Ray with DVR

 

you mean a blue-ray dvdrecorder? Well then I guess you have to wait some years and if it is there it will probably be enormously expensive in the beginning. So when you wait another couple of years, prices will go down..however, all in all it could be 3 years

maybe before you can buy it! In my opinion, if you already have a dvdrecorder you are more than happy already, and bluray is not that expensive anymore. Here you can buy an excellent blurayplayer for about 120 euros, so....

and since the date of release constantly seems to move I don't have much confidence in a french version anymore.. but who knows..

 

Hi.You can already buy Blu-ray recorders.Here's a link with a couple of Blu-ray recorders.The price isn't to bad.I'm sure they will come down in the next couple of years.

YAY!!! a DVD setlist! I'm also disappointed that IYA isn't on it. Like someone said earlier, I have a feeling it does have to do with some copyright thing with R. Kelly. Though oh well. This is much, much better than no DVD at all. Plus they're fan videos online. I can't wait to get this and the French version!!

I dont care about IYA there were better performances. What i want to know is....emmmh... what do you think, how big is the chance that the audio CD is NOT from Boston or Montreal?!

 

Imagine it would be from another show (for example from Stockholm, since the live version of ML was recorded there)

Well, like I said earlier, it was on the Au coeur du stade DVD, so we don't know if was because of copyright or not.

 

Maybe there was a problem with the footage (like with Tell Him for ACDS)

for french version add Ziggy, and maybe few more french songs that was performed only like 1 or 2 times or so!

I guess they will release few versions!! like Movie, movie + concert, CD+DVD, deluxe version movie+ CD + concert, CD only oh forgot another one movie + concert and book!! oh don't for get the french edition!!!!!! that is alot of versions / editions (whatever it's called) !!! lol

Why would she re-record them and not use them on the DVD?! There's no way they'd us the old playbacks, they've realised now that fans own more than one of her DVDs.

 

It will be interesting to see if the new live vocals are different in the Boston and Montreal concerts. I have a feeling she would have re-recorded/sung live under playback for each song twice, one for each concert.

 

Hopefully they will use these new recordings for future concerts, just imagine hearing TPOL with no 15 year time change!

Oh yeah, that's true. Good point. I got focused on the copyright thing and forgot it was on ACDS. Your probably right, it was a problem with the footage.

what do you think ? well, when you have the a new day dvd and others, it cannot sound similar, so I can see them having a new fresh recording of that songs! Look what they have done with All by myself.. I think we will be surprised with the quality of this dvd.. don't forget it has taken such a long time to release.. there must be reason for that ;-) I can't wait to have these in my hands!!

But even if there was a problem with the footage, they filmed every single concert in HD (Boston and Montreal just had the special flying cameras too). So they could have 'repaired' IYA with the video/audio of another concert.

I don't know for sure, I just remember people saying how there was a problem with the footage so they weren't able to include it.

 

I'm sure someone else has a better explanation than I do!
