Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

Didn't she say that she could only see her performing when RC was on vacation? Is he on vacation in March and April? As I thought right from the start, they will end up convincing her to perform 150 times a year.

IMO, there is no challenge at all, that's something tried and tested. I would be interested if she did some 20 shows at the MGM Arena which holds four times more people than the Coliseum. Michael Jackson was to perform 50 shows in London, Mylene Farmer did 13 shows at Bercy in 2006, Clouseau used to do around 20 shows in Antwerp, Luis Miguel does more than 30 concerts in a row in Mexico City on every tour in a venue that holds 10,000 people. Why couldn't she do the same in Las Vegas?

I'm sorry if this has already been brought up....but I went to look into renewing my TeamCeline so I would be ready to buy tickets, and I noticed this on the description of the memebership:

* There is a limit of two TeamCeline concert tickets or packages per member per year

Has anyone else noticed this? Didn't it used to be 8? That is terrible if we get limited to 2 tickets...

A vegas return will be amazing! It is a big disadvantage for fans that are in other countries.. or far from vegas.. but it makes perfect sense for Celine to go back to vegas.. they have a home there where RC can be homeschooled.. she can have a steady performance space.. I think it'll be just great. And it also makes perfect sense for her to go on Oprah to promote CTTEOTW and then have an announcement about the vegas return and tickets going on sale Febuary 10th.. YAY CELINE IS BACK

I thought I was the only one who saw obvious that US fans have indeed many more chances to see her sometime than the rest of the fans... I hope that you see this new A New Day era confirms it :rolleyes: . My congratulations!! :flowers:

well Las Vegas is a great place for Celine to do this concerts in the U.S because well Vegas is considered a playground for people.. both US citizens and other people from around the world can go to Vegas to vacation, stay in world class hotels, experience 5 star food, and see world class entertainment.. and Celine is definitely world class.. It'd be cool for her to do a residency in London or somewhere but Vegas just is the place to headline it seems.. a lot of other artists do it in Vegas and perhaps if there were another Vegas type destination with other major headliners and hotels and dining and entertainment then they might consider a show there instead.. Plus in the 5 years Celine was in vegas she attracted millions of people from all around the USA and world.. which is good for business

OK so now ticketmaster says - no locations, no dates... But anyway, if this IS ever officially confirmed - is it time to really start doing something about the award I would like us to prepare? I mean, we should all settle a date when most of us would be able to make it there, nd get in touch with Rene or someone else form Celine's management... And I could write a letter (an actual letter, not e-mail) to Feeling Productions and maybe somewhere else too...

I will try to go on March 25th, 26th and two april dates. No way I'm traveling for 18 hours for only one show.

And if I don't have anyone to go with me, then I'll go alone. That will be sad but no way I'm missing out on this!

I totally agree with you all, Sony sucks when it comes to promoting Celines Albums. They pick the worse songs, as singles for promoting her albums. Also, if Celine does go back to Vegas it is only an hour and a half flight to Vegas For me. So it would be more expensive, for people in Europe to travel to Vegas then it is for us in Canada and the U.S. Also for the Fans that live in Europe would have to save allot of money for flight s and hotel rooms. :yes: :yes:

I wonder what Celine has to say in all of this? Can she also give a vote which single should be released?

Maybe for you it is only half an hour flying, but to me , and a lot other fans, Vegas is far far away and apart from the planeticket,

you have the concertticket. Too much for one evening fun! Seeing Celine is surely I would love to do once again, but I am not gonna spend hundreds of dollars for that.. I guess I wait and see if she visits Holland again.

And Vegas, I never dreamed about going to Vegas, I am not so much of gambling, casino's etcetera, I would rather see The Grand Canyon instead!

( now that's also close to Vegas I know)
