Celine AJ Posted March 9, 2008 at 02:27 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 02:27 AM Thanks for all the info... No Think Twice...please don't drop this from the entire Asia and Australian leg.... Fantastic pictures...thanks... Quote
SuperLove4Celine Posted March 9, 2008 at 02:48 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 02:48 AM Was it not "Watashi Ha Totemo Shiawase Ne"? She sang that last time she was in Japan. Unfortunately Taro Hakase was not there, and the song in japanese was "Watashi wa totemo shiawase ne" as Thomas said. But she didnt sing the full song, she said to the chorus "Do you remember last time we've been here I sang that song in japanese..?" and started sing a little bit, and then said "I wish I could remember the full song and wish I could speak japanese!" Thank you both for the title of the Japanese song she sang. It's a shame she didn't sing "Be The Man," seeing as that was one of her big hits in Asia. It is, after all, on that region's version of All The Way...A Decade Of Song and Complete Best. On another note I absolutely LOVED the video clip of Celine with Yuna. I think they both did an amazing job together. You could really tell Yuna was touched and moved to be up on stage with Celine. And Celine, as always, was gracious and warm with Yuna. I think the two could be very good friends. And one last thing... THANK GOD "FADE AWAY" IS BACK! THAT SONG IS DA BOMB DIGGITY! - Joe Quote
scorp82 Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:05 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:05 AM Thanks for all the info... No Think Twice...please don't drop this from the entire Asia and Australian leg.... Fantastic pictures...thanks... Remember that Celine did not perform Think Twice in order to perform A World To Believe In with Yuna Ito. This will probably be the norm for concerts in Japan. Quote
Bellamy Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:20 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 03:20 AM Unfortunately Taro Hakase was not there, and the song in japanese was "Watashi wa totemo shiawase ne" as Thomas said. highschoolmusicalfan Posted March 9, 2008 at 09:03 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 09:03 AM I attended the first Tokyo show. It was amazing! Wish I could have stood up and danced the entire show, but the crowd was obviously more reserved. Didn't want to block the view of the people sitting behind me also. I did not have floor seats, but it didn't matter. There were big screens showing her from up above. I love this in the round setup!!!! Plus, Celine and the dancers used the conveyor belts on the sides of the stage dramatically. Especially during "I Got The Music In Me." My favorite performance was "I'm Your Angel." To be honest, I felt that the Queen segment seemed out of place. The ultimate highlight was seeing two of her dancers at a club in Shinjuku (district of Tokyo) later that night! They were both so nice. It was nice hearing an insider's perspective. They were so approachable and grateful for the support. Here are some pictures of the stage and me with the dancers ... Quote

Thomas Posted March 9, 2008 at 10:17 AM Posted March 9, 2008 at 10:17 AM Thanks highschoolmusicalfan for the pics! In your photo we can see the roof of the arena was not suitable for a fixed canopy so that must be why they used those massive support pillars. Plus you can see that the long walkways into the crowd were not used, I guess we'll see them when the full production is used. Quote

dlh1 Posted March 9, 2008 at 01:36 PM Posted March 9, 2008 at 01:36 PM 5000 Yen ?? That's ridiculous !! It was half that here in South Africa. After reading these reviews I'm glad she had a normal straight stage here Everything in Japan is ridiculously overpriced compared to other countries anyway, so tey were probably just keeping the tour book price in line with everything else! Everything in Japan is ridiculously overpriced compared to other countries anyway, so tey were probably just keeping the tour book price in line with everything else!I think so too. The price would vary depends on the country. I bet US would be one of the cheapest just like the concert tickets.
