Girllllllll, you know we couldn't live with thinking our Raleigh show was canceled! Even though, if it was, I would STILL come to Raleigh! Ain't no stopping us!

So...who's coming for lunch on the 20th. I get in around 10:30am; Kim & Chels are picking me up. We can meet y'all somewhere for lunch or for drinks after the show, though Chels may have to take off right away afterwards. Give me some feedback 'cause fan get-togethers are what makes the whole experience that much more special.

YES. it is a 4 hour drive to Raleigh and then I have class at 8 am the next morning. OH MY DION. how will i ever do it.. maybe I'll pull and all nighter! =)

So my plan is to take 1/2 day off work. That way I can leave here by 11:30 for the 2 hour drive to Raleigh. I have her flightaawea page for her plane saved on my iphone, so I can see when she's coming in. I MAY try and go to the airport. I have a friend who works at RDU and if he's scheduled to work, hopefully I can get 411 on if I'd be able to catch her or not. I still plan on trying to be at RBC by the time she arrives to the venue to try and catch her. I figure she'll be there around 5 or so, so my friends and I will do dinner after Celine tracking.

After dinner is the show and I am still trying to think of the right moment to go give her my little gift. I know I'll be nervous, but I am gonna try and make nice with the security guys before the show starts. I still wonder which side of the stage has the piano where she performs My Love.

My friend from college lives in Raleigh and she keeps telling me she's seeing Celine EVERYWHERE. Commercials, etc. I'm so disappointed in her for not going lol

Yay! Two of my aunts are flying in from the Midwest (Minnesota and Wisconsin) and also my mom is coming with! I don't know how far they are going to want to go to meet her or anything haha but we have to be there early to get tickets at will call so maybe I can convince them to hang around when she gets there! haha But I'll be looking out for you guys there!!!

I'm kind of freaking out a bit though about this - I'm by DC and the 20th is going to be chaotic with road closures and traffic and whatnot. I'll also be driving back to VA from NJ that morning and I should be OK since I won't have to drive through DC to get there. Even so, I'm still scared that 95 will be shut down for some reason.

Would anyone by some miracle have 2 tickets for sale for this day?

I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a try. I've come to terms with driving 8hrs down there from NJ but can't find decent tickets. I went in September and was in the nosebleed section, lol; I was hoping to have a different perspective.

Apparently ticketmaster is releasing more seats. Thursday, they had 2 2nd row seats available when I looked.

I'm going to try to leave NJ at around 7 or 8am, but I won't expect to get to NC anytime soon. I have to drop my dog off for boarding - I'm hoping to get to NC fairly early, but I guess I'll have to see what traffic is like. Getting from VA to NC shouldn't be bad - it's the drive from NJ that worries me!

we're in the same boat. I'm going early too cause I recently got married myself and I can just picture them telling me I can't have my tickets. Talk about a beat down. I'm not missing Celine over a name change!

I emailed TC a while back and they said bring anything you can with your old name - my TC card is my old name of course, and I have the CC used and made a photocopy of the TC, CC, and old DL together before I turned it in. I'm with you LOL.
