Thanx everyone....We were sitting in sec 105 row M so we were right by the tip of the catwalk....They were amazing seats, I have to admit. ummm the camera, I know its a Canon PowerShot, but not quite sure on the model number, but def just a simple camera my bf just likes to play around with the settings and sumtimes you end up with some really nice pictures and other times they are a disaster

Tracey, i dont know you but your video is so emotional i felt like crying and your message about your whole experience. You seem like a lovely person and you deserved that. I hope one day everyone can meet here and go to a Celine concert 2gether!!!. Thanks for sharing, that was amazing.

I have enjoyed so much reading everyone's stories and reviews. So, I figured I'd add mine...it's doesn't contain any stories of getting "up close" to Celine, but just my experience. It was my first time ever seeing her in concert! Needless to say, I was so excited! I had been waiting for this moment since I was 9! Be prepared if this is long…..I like to talk.

I live almost 2 hours away from Raleigh. I had made plans with my husband, my mom, my mother-in-law, and father-in-law to leave Tuesday around 1:30pm and head to Raleigh. We planned to just hang out at the mall and go out to eat at PF Changs (a really good Chinese restaurant). We get to the mall....and all the stores are closed....and really, the weather was not THAT bad. So, we decide to go ahead and eat an early supper. We go into PF Changs and get seated. I remember making the comment that I was surprised that there weren't more people there since the RBC center was just a few minutes away from the restaurant. Well, our waitress comes to our table and my mom makes the comment that we are going to the Celine Dion concert. Our waitress looks at us and says, "Oh no, you didn't hear, the concert was rescheduled for tomorrow night." She said that people had been calling in canceling their reservations because of it. Well, we had to see for ourselves, so after we ate we drove over to the RBC center and saw that it was indeed rescheduled. Soooo, we drive back home for the night. Wednesday we leave at 4:30...just hoping and praying that we didn't run into too much traffic. We ate supper at Chic-fil-a and headed to the concert from there.

This whole time I was so excited and nervous. Why was I nervous you might ask? I was so determined to get my cameras in there. I have an entry-level Nikon SLR camera with a moderate zoom on it, and I had also brought a point and shoot camera so I could take a few videos. You have to know me to understand that I absolutely love photography, and I HAD to come home with some decent pictures. We were sitting in the upper level, so I knew that I probably wouldn't be able to get any good pictures with my point and shoot camera. I had my purse all "fixed up" to where the camera was in the very bottom, covered up by some precisely placed items...I had a black lining in my purse, so that helped, and I even had thought out how to try to keep my camera if they tried to take my “big” camera away. Anyway, I get there and they just opened my purse and didn’t even look through it. I was relieved and could finally relax!!!! We go find our seats, and while they weren't nearly as good as what some of you guys had, THEY WERE SEATS AT A CELINE DION CONCERT....so I was happy. I did sit right in front of the catwalk, which was nice...just up in the upper level. 8:00 comes and I'm way excited, but at the same time a little sad, because I know how quickly the moment will pass by. Gordie comes out, and while he was funny, it wasn't him that I had come to see. I was ready to see Celine. He leaves the stage and finally the stadium becomes dark. It felt surreal. Then out comes Celine! I teared up a little, but sucked it in and started singing along. TPOL was I think her second song…and I wasn’t prepared for it. I didn’t know she’d sing it that soon. That is my all time favorite song by her, and I had planned to record it. Well, as soon as the first note played, I started fumbling in my purse (while singing along) trying to find my point and shoot camera…. I finally found it just in time to record the last chorus….which is definitely better than nothing. I was pumped! EOM was another highlight for me...but so many other songs were as well…way too many to list. However, probably one of the biggest highlights was when Celine sang TP. My husband and I had 2 of our friends sing that arrangement at our wedding…so to hear Celine sing it in person with Andrea Bocelli on the screen was so overwhelming. That was another one I had to record. The crowd was great, and Celine was amazing…even better than I had imagined. Near the end, I was surprised at the people who got up and started to leave when they thought it was over…I mean seriously though…there was no way she was ending the concert without singing MHWGO…any good fan knows that. I looked over to my family and said, “it’s not over she’s gonna come out and sing MHWGO.” I wish she could have gone on all night.

I’m so excited for everyone who got to have their Celine moment! I discovered this forum a few days before the concert and had been reading a lot of the posts. So, when Chelsey and Brittany went up to the stage to give Celine the rose, I had a feeling it was them. Reading all about everyone’s encounters with Celine gives me hope that it can one day happen to me! I had to work yesterday and today, so reading everything from the Raleigh and Miami concerts has definitely given me something to keep me occupied on our down times. Thanks everyone for sharing.

loved the raleigh show... :clap: although, i almost wish i hadn't taken so many pictures only b/c i feel like i was paying more attention to that than the concert itself. it was over wayyy too early.. and i'm sad only b/c i know i have to wait a good while before i can see her again. ahh.. i love her. and i am determined to meet her the next time i see her!

I know what you mean! I went and sat right at the end of one of the catwalks. The seats were fantastic! The show was great! However, I was so busy taking pictures when she was near me that I didn't really enjoy her being that close - I didn't really get a good look at her! I took videos but they made me delete them. So I was really bummed. As I was taking some of the videos, my thought was well at least I can look back on these and remember from them. Now I don't even have that. Having pictures and videos are great but sometimes you get so caught up in taking them that you don't really enjoy or see the event you are at. Next time I think I will just take a picture or two for memories and then just enjoy the show!

Well, here I am, finally able to give you guys my review almost a week later. There really isn't much to add to what e else has said. Needless to say I didn't get the opportunity to meet Celine, but I was pretty close.

The whole show was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was the way the stage was set up. Maybe I'm spoiled from seeing her in Vegas, but I got used to the one sided stage. I loved the fact that I felt she was giving me all her attention and didn't have to worry about the people behind her. Otherwise the show was unbelievable. I had floor seats and it was the ultimate experience. She was very funny and witty. She asked if we thought she had brought the snow with her from Canada. She was like the next thing I know I'll be called "Blizzard Dion." Funniest thing ever. Then when she started to introduce "My Love" everyone started shouting the name and she goes, "were you guys here last night?"

Anyway, I will never forget this whole experience-snow and Celine. Granted, not enough to be declared a state of emergency, but well worth the trip.

If anyone has any video of just the concert in itself, please post. YouTube has a few but not complete.

Aww... that sucks that they made you delete your videos.

I think I must have taken like 5 or 6 videos along with all the pictures I got. I never had anyone tell me to stop or to delete them (although, i know the tickets clearly say "no video") haha. But that surprises me cause I was in seat 1 in section 7 so plenty of people must have seen me doing it. Oh well! I'm glad you enjoyed the show! And yes, I agree, maybe only a couple of pics next time so we can actually watch Celine and not our cameras! :wink:
