yes, i do still have Denver. I think i meant last one in this two week period. Like, I JUST added Denver a few days ago and Its not until Feb. 24th so i will def. be having some withdrawals until then! Its already hitting me!..

you are.going to so many concerts..pff.. I am a fan too but I would not spend THAT (600? dollars?)

much to see her, maybe when I could afford it, although I loved my concert experience in Amsterdam.

And I do think these concert prices are out of proportion! In Germany and Belgium and Paris the prices were also outrageous.

I paid 91 euros (not counting the bustrip to the venue - 20 euros) and my seat was not the best place i expected it too be, although

it was a first class seat (thanks binoculars !) and although it was really really worth it, the prices are tooo high.

....and you even hugged her and had a meet and greet..man this is really your biggest celine-experience ever! you must have spared a lot of money to visit all those concerts! How did you get the meet and greet?

You are really a lucky woman!

 

 

Well, truly, before this tour had started, I had only seen Celine once. that was in Vegas and it was a gift from a friend. The Raleigh show was going to be my one and only and I was really sick to my stomach with the thought because in Vegas, I sat so far back i could barely see anything. But then I met an amazing friend on here (Kimba) who talked me into going to Nashville... We got a nosebleed seat for under 50 and I just walked my little happy butt to a closer seat once I found one Then I realized that Atlanta was closer than Raleigh and WHY didnt i buy that ticket first?!? so I bought a single ticket for that show too! So that made 3 total.

BUTTT- I had been entering contests since the tour started and I actually won one! It was the 'Sensational Woman's Award' - it included flight and hotel and concert tickets to the Miami show! So i asked the production lady if there were anyway to add me to the meet and greet and she did!

 

So thats really all..

 

I decided to add Denver on whim. And it will be my last, but after that I won't be seeing Celine for a while so yes, as hard as I work, i would spend every dime on seeing Celine. Other than paying my bills, I can't think of anything else I would rather spend my money on! =) Or better yet, swipe my credit card

 

 

 

Guys I just want to say that all day yesterday I went through incredible withdrawals. i now know what all of you are feeling and I just wish we could have one huge group hug! I didn't feel better until talking with a great friend who showed me that its normal to feel that way. Its just how Celine makes each of us feel so important that when she's gone - it literally hurts- like grieving! But more so, I told myself to be thankful that it happened, rather than sad that its over. Then I talked with some people that lived over seas who dont ever get half of the opportunities that I have had and I just felt so guilty that I had taken my accessibility for granted! I wish for all of you who live so far away from the US to be able to have many more opportunities! And if ever I have anything to do with Celine, my utmost important task will be to share it with you all so that in some way you may experience it too!

 

To anyone who has not had their Celine moment, you must NOT give up hope. Becasue the thing we all forget is that she is human just like us. And though it may not be as easy to run into her rather than some taxi driver on the street, it is possible. And when you live each day with hope and happiness, you're on the way to an incredible experience. I just had a peace of mind that I wasn't worried if in my shows nothing happened with Celine because that just meant it wasnt time yet and that SURELY when my time came it would be much more incredible than i had hoped for.

 

In the end, we all have seperate lives to live and we all find a way to make Celine apart of each day. Not only have I had some incredible moments lately, but I've made some lifelong friends too! Love you ALL!

well chellsey, I just saw your video on youtube with hellmeister in the car.

It looked so funny and you were really having so much fun together.

Great to see those snowy trees outside the car. Wish we got some snow here ;-S

Anyway it may have sounded almost complaining what I wrote today but that is not true,

you are just fortunate girls!

 

I love reading all these concert experiences every day and they are getting better and better

and I really miss that first Celine Dion experience I had, in june.

I had firstclasstickets and still Celine looked far away, allthough later I heard that a lot of people

just walked towards the stage and made great pictures.

But hearing Celine life is so much different from hearing a cd. It is an amazing voice

it gave me goosebumps and when she reaches those incredible high notes ...it is really amazing

What I always do when I attend a concert, I take my binoculars with me. Spend some good money

on very good binoculars and you can always use them in case of a concert.

I was far from the stage. although in b3, that's 1st class tickets, but I could see Celine so clearly with the binoculars that I did not watch

the screen above me, I could see her the whole time and she even was the most of the time on my side of the stage

And when my heart will go on began we walked towards the stage, and there we saw Celine high in the sky

with all those lights everywhere and those candles.. I loved it.

 

I have been to Madonna too this year, and although I am not a fan, my friend is, but it was a great show but not because of her voice.

Now so many months later I cannot recall it anymore but the Celine concert still is in my memory and

thanks to you all in this forum I hear and see so many great stories and videos of the tour. thank you all!

Now it's my little story time if anyone cares to know how my conversation with MICHEL went!!

 

Well i went to the venue early to see if i would get a chance to meet Celine so i arrived there at about 5:15ish and as soon i was dropped off my twin sister and i walked to where the trucks were and instantly i recognized Michel her brother and he was just standing there with no one else around so i just went up to him (shaking mind you) and was like "Michel hi i'm a fan..." (didn't want to look crazy or anything) and right away got a picture and I asked him if i would be able to meet Celine and he said "She's going through here" and when he said this my mind was like "NO FREAKING WAY" but later i realized just meant that she was literally just passing though in her car so i didn't get to meet her or see her but i'm totally cool and fine about that (thanks Chelsey!) but i'm sure he said that so he wouldn't hurt my feelings which is understandable especially learning she had to meet like 30 people later on who aren't true fans! But man, Celine's a beast!

 

Anyways...

 

So we just talked about everything including myself (except my name!!) and how the weather's been cold and he said how his house in Vegas had snow and how awesome it would be if i were a part of a big family then i told him how i have 2 older sisters and he's like "well that's a pretty big family" and i'm like well yea haha and then my twin was ranting about her nail being wet and i said to him how he has to know about those girlie things since he has 9 sisters and he's like actually no haha. Then i mentioned how i go to an arts school and that i went to a private school before and he said "when i was younger it was definitely very strict". Then the funniest thing happen... when someone who clearly has never been to downtown Miami asks Michel where to eat he froze and i pointed towards Bayside where restaurants and shops are. then he said how he also sent "them" (i'm guessing he was referring to Celine and/or her peeps) in the same direction and i was like "good job! you're like a local " and i asked him if he likes Miami and he said the they haven't been here in 12 years! (During the concert Celine mentioned over 15..who's accurate..i don't know! haha) And our conversation ended when he got a call that Celine was coming in and he ran to her assistance.

 

All in all he was super nice and we talked for a good amount of time! i hope he tells Celine and so she can know i'm in exsistance!! And meeting at least one Dion that's good enough for me! He was so easy to talk to and genuinely nice. On the plus side he laughed at a couple things i said! (Success!) And I also find it funny how only us true fans can recognized and freak out about meeting anyone remotely close to Celine! Thanks to the forum and all of you guys i'm a part of one of those obsessive fans!!

 

THE CONCERT

 

I just want to mention a couple of things. And Gordie Brown is actualy really funny! My oldest sister was crying from laughter!! And Celine, JUST AMAZING I think her voice was flawless!!!! I definitely saw Gloria and Emilio since they were in the same row just a couple of sections to my right. And i wish they would've sang Conga together!! Also i found it sooo annoying how people kept screaming in the beginning of My Love and other people were like SHHH And the crowd was pretty good i felt like with her biggest songs like BYLM and MHWGO people were singing!! Celine was just FIERCE and it was just amazing and can't wait until the sunrise concert where i'll be front row!! I'll definitely have better pictures and video!!!

 

BTW i swear i look weird in the picture with Michel!! i was still shaking and didn't want him to feel me shaking so in my mind i'm thinking "stop stop!" so that explains that nasty face of mine!!

They have money. Even at my shows I was seeing people dressed up over the top for sound checks and food. They didnt look very excited about it though like I would have been. I do remember from the meet and greet this older lady who was wearing a dress 20 years too young for her (you could see her huge pink granny panties lmao) with this guy 15 years too young for her.. and apparently the majority of people in there knew this guy. He was just sitting back drinking a scotch (or some kind of small alcoholic drink) all relaxed. and When we walked in (my mom and i) we heard her clearly bump him in the arm and say "how'd they get in here.. they don't know you" .. i was like. Whhhhhhat? lol Keep in mind this was also the lady that tried to fight me for the last spot to greet Celine. lol.. i wasnt backing down and it ended up that the guy with her talked her into letting me go last.. she wasn't happy though.

 

So who really knows how anyone gets back there.

What can I say?

I know Celine since 1996 and I never imagined Ia was gonna see her performing LIVE!

 

Even though I'm not a 100% fan, I must say, thisw was the best concert ever!!

 

I'm from Ecuador and last year, while planning vacations to Miami I realized the Miami date was available during my vacation time, so I didn't think too much and I bought the tickets!

 

We arrived to the arena (me, my sister and my cousin) at 7:40PM, the ticket said NO CAMERAS OR VIDEO RECORDERS... but taking my camera into the arena was the easiest thing I've ever don in my whole live! hahaha

 

Then, at 8:20 I think, when the arena was still empty, Gordon (I think....) did his performance... I swear I had no idea who this guys was, but he was funny... I lvoed his Michael Jackson parody... hahaha

 

At 9PM the arena lights turn off again and the video on the screens starts! I was so excited! My first time seeing Celine!

 

I started to record, I couldn't stop screaming! hahahaha

And there she was!!!!! Absolutely amazing!! With that gorgeous silver dress... I LOVED IT!!!

 

I've been following this tour since february and I can say... IT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE LIVE VERSION! The stage, GREAT!! It showed Celine from all sides.

 

Celine said that the Miami audience was of the bests she's had. Gloria Estefan was on the crowd, she even sang a little part of "Conga" hahahahaha

 

I have to say... I really wanted her to sing the Queen Medley, cause even if the crowd was loud, at least nearby me, nobody was singing but 3 or 4 people (I screamed each and every song hahaha ) I really think that medley would have turned on everyone!

 

Other thing I realized: A lot of foreign people assisted. Next to me there where 4 brazilian guys, a lot of cubains (you know, Miami is a little Cuba! ) also from Puerto Rico, Israel, Ecuador (me and my sister), Chile, Argentina, Panama, Colombia)...

 

What else can I say? It was amazing from start to end...
