SOOOO how about I have NO voice right now. NOTHING! I think its a mixture of a little cold and screaming at three concerts before this but I'm really freakin out because I board my plane in the morning and I meet Celine before the show. What if I still can't talk by then. I mean NOTHING is coming out! Maybe I'll just write it all down. lol..

o boy, this will be interesting! I am giving her a drawing I did of her and RC =)

Aaaaaah, Chels. By this time you've had your meet and greet with our woman...and I forgot about your gorgeous drawing; she's loving it I just know it! :yes: What's cool about losing your voice or having just a bit of a voice is that people pay better attention to what you have to say. My hope is that Celine really leaned in to hear you and that you got the chance to tell her what she means to you! :wub:

I hope the show goes super well and that Miami shows Celine a GREAT TIME!! :clap:

Can't wait to hear all about the show and meet n greet, Chelsey! I just know you have created some "Celine magic" in Miami!!! I'll bet you had the time of your life in your meeting with her!!!! I don't know you but I feel that I do through all of your posts! Your energy and enthusiasm is contagious!! Have a blast and give us all the details soon! Hope your voice has recovered a little and you can enjoy the beach tomorrow!!! Wow, to be in Miami Beach tomorrow....what a treat!!! wow. what a night. There are so many of you wiaiting to read this that I feel a little pressure. lol I only hope I can remember all the details.

FIRST i must say that I saw Michel in the crowd and got my picture with him! MAMAN DION was there too! With some others I didnt really recognize. I didnt know french so I didnt want to get my picture iwth her and not be able to conversate =( plus Michel kept saying 'last one, last one'. I had my drawing in my hand to show Michel and Maman Dion saw it from the distance and bumbed the lady beside her and pointed to it and smile at me. :wub: it was perfect. It was like i got to say something to her without saying anything at all!

So.. to the meet and greet. You will have to excuse the fact that it is so hard to remember it. :confused: Its true that when the mind and heart are in such an emotional experience, the brain doesnt encode the information as well. This def. happend to me tonight.

So the girl came and got me from my seat (all you ATL people, it was the little blonde that took the picture of all of us with Patrick- I told her i remembered her and she said she couldnt believe it lol) So we start walking to backstage and i was freaking. She told me I looked really pretty which made my day! Only the best for Celine lol. And once we went behind the curtain she said "okay, you are officialy backstage" and I said.. "okay, so how can i get a job like the one you have?!" lol she just laughed it off and didnt answer me. darn. So they said that there would be no autographs nor pictures taken on our own. boo! But i was just so excited to see her I couldnt care less.

We went into a room where there were chairs in a semi circle, about 8 people were there already. so my mom and I sat down. A few commented on my drawing and we all waited for about another 20 minutes. More and more people came in and eventually there were a little of 30 of us! This is my only disapointment in it... there were so many of us, the meet and greet wasnt personal at all, it seemed more like a business - see em', take a picture, tell em' bye. Dont get me wrong, i would take that any day over nothing at all but there were about 6 people back there who really didnt care. They were so suprised how big of a fan I was. And I was the youngest one! There were quite a few older ladies with their fur coats on and diamonds..

SOOOo i started tearing up just thinking about her walking in. And I scooted my little happy butt all the way to the back of the room. I really wanted to be LAST so i could get maybe a few extra seconds.

THEN- she walked in. She is an angel :wub: :wub: :wub: And she wasnt wearing the purple opening dress.. she was wearing a GORGEOUS indian/mosaic kinda design floor length dress. It kinda looked like a pull over but when I hugged her i felt her bare skin, like there wasnt a dress underneath. Let me tell you.. she was STUNNING in this outfit :in_love: That alone made me cry. I can't wait to get the picture back just so you can see how beautiful she really was.

As soon as she walked in she took a picture with a group of people and barely said anything - then out they went. The whole thing probably didnt last more than 5 minutes. And towards the end I basically had to fight a woman for the last spot. The man with her talked her into letting me go last because he said i was clearly a bigger fan and i had my drawing (and I was already tearing up)

So then it was my turn before I knew it, they said , 'oh, and here's the last one'.. (like they were surprised how quickly they got everyone in and out)

Celine didnt recognize me from all the other encounters (as far as I know, atleast she didnt mention it) Infact, when I walked up to her she grabbed my hand and said "oh don't cry" and then looked at my mom and my mom was tearing up too. So she said "oh no, you too? Someone has to be the support system here!" lol. it was cute. and then she positioned herself to take a picture with me but I grabbed her and pulled her in for a hug. I couldnt believe i was standing there infront of her and had gone more than 3 seconds without a hug lol. I probably held on too tight once more lol. so as i pulled away I said 'i have a present for you' and she said o what? and i handed her the drawing. She just stood there and stared at it and said it was amazing :wub: I dont even know if she knew i drew it beacuse i didnt say anything else the rest of the time.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? :doh: WHY??? I didnt say how much i loved her or that the picture was in honor of RC's birthday on Sunday, nor did I tell her how i had dreamed of that moment since i was 8. :doh: :doh: I was so frustrated with myself afterwards but I just froze. I shoulda known that would happen.

So we posed for a picture with the drawing- we took two just incase, then she said 'one with mom too' .. so my mom got in and then she said, 'okay, lets take one wihtout the frame' (which was an adorable way of saying drawing/picture) so then it was done..

I turned to her and hugged her so tight again. I think i said thank you but i really cant remember. My mom did say thank you for making her dreams come true. and she grabbed both my hands and held them and said 'Thank you for putting so much of your heart into it" :in_love: ... and i teared up again. I dont even think i answered her. errrr.

Then she said thank you and started walking to the door. I saw Nick over there so I yelled at him but he didnt hear so i walked towards the door she was walking to and got closer and yelled and he was so surprise to see me.. he said 'OH HEY!" but Celine wasnt sure what i was doing I think because she turned to me and asked "are you okay?" and i was like o yeah! Kinda confusing!? BUT ADORABLE!

I think she knew some of the people that were in the meet and greet. Somone asked how the florida home was coming along and she said they had just gone by to see it the other day and its going to be really breautiful so i would say its not finished. It was cool tohear her talk about it though. God i just wish i had all that videotaped. I can hardly remember the little things.!

Her assistant had a mouth mask and a bottle of purell on the table for Celine and when someone asked about it she said, 'someone Celine is coming in contact with has a cough and she asked for a mask'. Odd huh? i was like, o gosh, is she gonna wear it the whole time? BUt i never saw her put it on! :shrug:

What a night for you....I just want to cry myself after reading about your meet n greet!! Your story made me feel like I was there.....what a beautiful experience you had meeting our Celine!!! Even though your time with her was short, it sounds like she made it very special for you, being the angel that she is!!! Can't wait to read part two of your posting! I can only imagine what joy your Mom felt seeing this unfold for you!!! Cheers to you for making a dream come true!

Aww! :wub: So sweet. That seems to be the only (and I mean only) bad thing about most meet and greets, you're never the only one - you're usually one of MANY!

I have a feeling more and more will come back to you, it always does for me. You need to give your brain time to absorb everything, it's too intense!!

So all in all the meet and greet was amazing. It went by so fast that i probably wouldnt have had time to say anything even if I had thought of something to say. I guess I imagined it something like the Vegas DVD meet and greets but it was still so incredibly special.

I know I have had some amazing luck lately and i only wish i could have put you all in my shoes to experience it. But i too was where you all are. I thought i would NEVER come face to face with that beautiful woman but i just had to have faith that it DOES happen - you just have to believe your time is coming and if you rush it, what is suppose to happen won't. If you wait patiently and selflessness, it will be greater than you ever anticipated. I remember sitting in my living room floor crying my eyes out over Charise and saying how freaking lucky she was and being so angry because i just knew I would never meet Celine or make an empression in her heart. My mom straight up yelled at me and said I was being so selfish and that i should be happy for her and as long as I had the attitude i had, nothing would come my way. It was so true. I love you all because you all love Celine and The support and happiness you all have been showing me proves that you all have something amazing coming your way! :clap: :clap: :clap:

On to the show. We had AMAZING seats! by the catwalk! During the first song she sang down our catwalk she spotted me and pointed and sang right to me. That was freakin awsome! I didnt want her to forget me right after the meet and greet which seemed like a possibility since the whole thing went so fast. (they didnt even introduce me by my name or explain the contest winning- just batta boom and get out) so when she spotted me and knew where I would be for the rest of the show that really made me happy.

In the speech (which i got two splt videos of it. by the way, my pictures and video didnt turn out well at all, but it give you a feel of the show atleast) so, in the speech Celine spoke about how before the show she had the priveldge to meet with some amazing friends and jsut wnet on about how much she loved them. AND Gloria Estefan was in the audience with her hubby! just about a few yards away from me! She stood up and waved and Then Celine continued with her speech and when she got to the Maman Dion part she introduced her mom to everyone. IN the video is so funny cause I already knew where she was (pretty close to me) but everyone stands up looking around for her and i wanted to be like.. uh.. shes right beside you! :doh: Celine was so excited she started jumping up and down. and saying how great Maman looked. It was fun.

Sooo clearly the show was on fire! You could tell she was really putting alot into it for the special guests! =) and no, i didnt happen to see RC or Rene. hmmm.

Barnev came to my catwalk and cracked up on stage when he recognized me. I think we're best friends. lol JK... Its fun to interact with him though.

So let me just say how utterly horrifying it is to go to a Celine show and not be able to scream your head off. I just felt like someone was strangling me! :shy: :ermm: My voice was NOT back all the way and I think i was scared to talk during the meet and greet because they had already mentioned how one person had a cough and I didnt want them to hear me and think i was dying lol :whistling: The crowd sounded goodas a whole but there werent as many 'ahhh' screaming your head of scream like I might have been able to add to had I not lost my voice! :shy: She came up to the catwalk and was so cute all night! There were two girls sitting behind me who came from Venezuela (sp?) and there were sooo excited! Celine paid them alot of attention at the catwalk too and it felt so good to see their hearts bloom.Yes, see... because they were so emotional and so happy it made me think of my first Celine show.I just wish we could all bottle up that feeling and keep it forever!

Celine kept singing Gloria's song 'move your body, baby shake that conga' or something like that. She sang a whole verse at one point and Glorai almost fell out of her chair laughing so hard. Celine said "okay, we'll give her a break, she's off tonight" lol. And throughout the show Celine kept making little gestures to Maman. At one point she makes a heart with both her hands and put it over her heart - it was adorable!

Also - Chelsey, holy crap. You've had an amazing night, I'm insanely jealous but happy for you. I've never talked to you but I can really tell how much you love Celine and you deserved it :heart:

So tonight was the first night I have ever seen Celine actually enter the floor to the stage. i guess I'm always too busy watching the screen but they had a spotlight and everything. Hmmm.

So i had an idea of where she would be leaving and I TOOK THE CHANCE. lol. I left my mom in the seat and I should of had her take my camera but she didnt know how to work it! During RDMH I went to the floor and found Nick- who is ADORABLE and I totally have a crush on lol. He hugged me and kissed me on both cheeks and said "I was so shocked to see you in the meet and greet. I wanted to come talk to you but you were crying" I was like, yeah, Celine does that to me. he and I had a long talk about my school and major and how I wanted to just ride the plane back with him lol. He said he would fold me in half and stick me in his suitcase lol. He also told me to stop coming to the shows lol. He asked what I did for a living and I said i was in school and he was like, well, you just got the picture of a lifetime! And i totally agreed! He pulled out his phone and if mine and not been dead I would have asked him for his digits lol. NOT!!! okay maybe. =)

So I asked if that was where Celine would be exiting and he said they were really sure yet because some stuff had changed but he said just stand here so i did. I was RIGHT next to the stairs that go up to the stage. (ya'll know what Im talking abot right?) and as Celine came around the stage during MHWGO she spotted me down there and pointed and sand. Oh, then i was a puddle in the floor ) I saw the camera men coming that way and i knew she would be exiting! i wasnt ready to say goodbye yet. I already missed her so much so one more hug would really top off the night! So out everyone came. i tried to pull a kimberly and keep the camera video recording but as soon as she came out i accidently hit the button and stopped it! =( BUT i was on the big screen so yet again another youtube manhunt for the video of Celine exiting! =) She stopped and didnt really hug but kinda did a half grab and I kissed her on the cheek! and there she went! =) =)

it was really cute beacuse as she was saying good bye after MHWGO, she turned to Maman Dion and siad "i'll see YOU in a little bit!" o boy. to be apart of that family!

So this is my LAST concert for a while and I have to say that this has been the time of my life. Things have happened to me that I couldnt have imagined up in my own lifetime. And I truly believe that when you have a genuine heart and dream big... things will come your way. Now, not all thigns are jsut handed out and that was the lesson I learned. You have to reach for them yourself but most the time we are in arms reach but just dont have the gumption to go for it. I have so much enjoyed sharing all this with you. It is so hard to find someone who genuinly cares and understands and I feel so blessed to have each one of you. Now go out there and make your Celine dreams come true too! And just remember. its only a dream to those who think it cant happen, to anyone else.. its just what the future holds!

LOVE YOU ALL!!!! if i think of more I will add!

Oh, and a little sidenote. One of my stuarts (or female version of that) on my plane saw my Celine thsirt and said she was going to the fort lauderdale show and was so excited but she had a ticket to sale for 200 bucks. she said it was a really good seat and I told her about this place! She is originally from South Africa. I wrote down the website and gave her my username. hopefully she'll come around, even if only to post about the ticket for sale. She even wrote her number on a napkin so I could call her and tell her all about the meet and greet. =) CUTE!
