Thank to all who posted the pictures and videos. Also thanks for the amazing review. After seeing all that I can't wait for the dvd to come out. It is going to be so amazing. I was looking forward to some new outfit changes but I do have to say I am in love with the song list. That picture with Andre was just hilarious. I love her Eyes on Me costume. It's pretty cool. I love her MHWGO dress, I don't see what everyone has aganist it. Overall, amazing! I'd say that her first concert for her US leg went beyond amazing. Celine rocks my world!

if you look at the MHWGO video...at the end instead of turning on the platform she comes down and goes around the stage!!!....that seems to be the biggest difference

Thank you guys for all the reviews and photos! I'm happy to read all these positive reviews even if there are no costume/setlist changes in the show.

Main thing are the great emotions we can only feel when we were there - facing Céline on stage. No review, no video, no bootleg can place this.

 

Too bad I can only hear the sound from that EPK video, I don't see any pictures... Don't know what's wrong... Hopefully it will be available in other format then .mov soon.

It would be very surprising to me if they made any changes on her first show and especially not the night they're filming the DVD.

Yea, that's why I think it was a bad idea filming the DVD on the first night of the Amrican leg - too big chanse that there wont be anything new.

 

What the hell does I'm Your Angel still do in the setlist? We already got it in the ACDS DVD, and I can't stand Barnev's voice, he ruins the song big time, I'd rather have her, if she had to have this song in, it solo - or why not take in R Kelly as a special guest for the recording of the DVD? I mean would it really hurt? They have neve rsung this song live thogether.

 

And the Prayer - why did she leave it out of the LTAL tour?! That's where it should had been, it was a single back then and nominated for an Oscar. This is just ridiculous and a mockery towards her new album...

 

...why did she even record a new album (TC) if she wont stand for it and sing the songs from it?! Wasn't this the best time she had recording ever?

 

And the soul man medley, Barnev mini concert - common! I demand it to be excluded from the DVD!

 

I think it's a disgrace when mediocre tracks which slows down the pace of the concert (IYA, TP, LCMM, ML, then new sucky version of SOL) gets into the track list when fine hits such as TTWIS, ANDHC and TT is left out of it!

 

I Got The Music In Me was the finest song and performance of this tour, it saddens me that it wasn't included for the recording of the DVD. If any cover should be excluded she had plenty to choose from: nr one the embarrasing banal We Will Rock You - if YSMANL got so much bashing, what will this get when it's even not backed up by the fans?!

 

And Think Twice and That's Just The Woman In Me.... Rest In Peace I don't get the Celine Team's policy: "If it's too good, take it out!". I Got The Music In Me falled under that category aswell.

 

EDIT: It cannot be empatized enough - the abcense of songs from Taking Chances. How wonderful wouldn't it be to hear RNTTRO live? or even Surprise Surprise.

I'm really surprised there was no wardrobe change though, the hot pink is still a great choice, but I can't say I'm a huge fan of the blacks pants with the glitter and the vest. And bring back the yellow MHWGO dress It was stunning.

 

So happy to have SOL and FA for the DVD!

 

But it is truly a shame that TJTWIM and CFTF are still being left off the setlist.

Jay...youuuu'rrrrre great!! Your review had lots of different details and you are truly trying to help other people get opportunities to get close to Celine. You are my kind of person Jay and I'm happy that you are a member of this forum.

 

And congrats on getting up the courage to have a personal Celine moment; I envy that courage and hope to take a lesson from it! I know you'll cherish that memory for years to come.

 

And about the mini promo...or whatever that is, I thought it was quite good. I like how Celine seems so energized and excited about the show; it feels genuine and she looks fantastic!!

I went to see the first show in Boston! I just came back to Montreal. It was an amazing night. I really had a great time and all my friends too. Celine was in top shape. I really liked the concert even if I knew everything about it. I'm a bit disappointed that there were no change at all in the list of songs. I would have really appreciated to hear songs such as Thats the way it is and A new day has come. I dont understand why she doesnt perform those songs which were her last biggest hits since year 2000. They were big hits in the States.

I dont think the crowd was very loud like some people mentioned. My friends and I thought the crowd was kind of quiet. They really seemed to enjoy the show but they were quiet especially for the new songs from TC. The only song where the crowd reacted very loudly was for My heart will go on. We had very good seats as we were just next to a bunch of cameras filming the DVD and we were also seating just in front of one of the dancers' mother. She was really nice with us. We took pictures of his son and she gave us her email address so that we can send them to her. She even told us to hug her son for her in Montreal...as we will be there on saturday. I cant wait for the show in Montreal!!!

I have to agree with Fred, it's a dead sin, that amazing songs are left out! I think Suprise, Surprise would have done very well live, (instead of TLYM) and IYA doesn't really add something to the show, I can't fight the feeling would have emphized the rock part more! Plus I thought that the whole purpose of the soul/blues medley was to make Céline's amazing TJTWIM shine! I truely looked forward on hearing that one live

 

Also it is unbelievable that they didn't have TLDH and JNVOP in the french setlist! I can't say it enough! 2 number one hits and she doesn't perform them. The one who makes up the setlist should be

Hope you guys havent seen this...

 

Celine's concerts in Boston were both AMAZING....

 

The second night was much more fan interactive.... during "My love" when she sings Acapello... some guy screamed "I love you" which totally threw her and she started crying and laughing all in one and said that "this is going to be harder then the studio recording"

 

Boston Rocks!!!
