and when the sign says "future broadcast" that doesnt mean tv special i'm guessing right?...

It could mean anything... :)

 

Broadcast is broadcast, from a one-second snapshot to a 30 second clip to a full, one-song presentation on the Today Show or even a TV Special. :msn-wink:

Well, the only chance left for some changes are her concerts in Canada, right?

 

I really hope frome the bottom of my heart that the Canadian concerts won't have the same French setlist that they had in Paris, Nice etc.

 

Anyway I am happy to get more or less the same setlist on DVD she had in Munich. I loved her performance in Munich and I'll buy the DVD anyway because of "Alone".

I have no problem saying penis, I thought the moderators might have a problem with it! Anyway, Cockatiels don't have penises, and I still don't understand whyyyy Celine is near Andre's LOL. (Now please nobody be mad at me for saying that :P )

Just got back from the concert and I am really tired, but hey... I've got my priorities in check: As mentioned before- Setlist was the same and costume/outfits did not changed with the exception of the HUGE necklace around the white dress.

So, Doors opened promptly at 7pm. I was a chicken and DID NOT bring my digi-cam- BIG MISTAKE- They just scanned my ticket and let me in- No pat down. They were looking into women's purses- so FYI.

 

Gordie Brown was the opening act. He started out with a big BONSOIR- And I'm thinking... WTF- Does he know where he is? He came on promptly at 8pm. I have mixed feelings about this guy. Some things were really good- and then some were not- which get me thinking, does Rene manage this guy? He did his act for about 30-40 minutes.

 

Celine made her appearance right at 9pm! The opening was pretty much the same- They have the cube in the center of the stage with LED's on each side- They showed clips from her European tour and then ended with the word Boston- Then Celine kicked into IDAN.

 

Can I just say that I had great seats? I was 6 rows off the floor to the east of the stage. I was like one row higher than the catwalk and 8 seats away. Downfall- My section were a bunch of well to do people who could give an eff that they were there! There was some important guy named JOE two rows behind me. Two of Celine's Staff came over to see him at different times. The last guy took he and his family backstage and then they came out before the show. OH and this group of 8-10 stuck up people demanded to be moved. In the section where the catwalk is on the east side, they were not filling row 7- but these players got to sit there. I overhead them saying- OH, This is much better than sitting way up there.... UGH whatever- They sucked as an audience! Poor Robot Celine singing to the Robot audience during POL.

 

Security was really chill with cameras. They even took down the "ropes" that kept people back from stage to the floor. I think probably for filming of the DVD, but it was still good, because they were up. And yes, There was definitely a DVD production going on tonight. They had disclaimers on the Screens stating that footage was being filmed for use in a DVD. Also, when the doors opened, there was a director/producer type guy with a camera and sound guy filming people coming in. In the Garden, cameras were all over... boom cameras, 3 cameras at the south end of the stage, multiple teams on foot, cameras up in the balcony, and a camera on a slide at the north end of the stage. BUT everyone was really nice and tried not to be obtrusive.

 

I looked for Rene, but did not see him on my side.

 

Celine Looked great- Hair was nice, make up good, wrinkles not too noticeable until she makes her crazy faces. I really wish the some songs would have been swapped, but whatever, I still went ape s*** for every song.

 

Celine did say that she hasn't been in Boston for 10 years and stated again that Boston is her good luck charm.... and I was thinking, christ, you said the same thing 10 years ago- but I still lost my s*** and went crazy!

 

Celine definitely works the round very well, paying equal attention to each side of the stage. OH- At the beginning, Celine was having sound problems. She couldn't hear the ear monitors (so her lips were probably a little off from the playback during IDAN) and she motioned to her sound guy twice to turn it up. Also there was a slight wardrobe malfunction with Celine's silver vest. Apparently Celine likes to take some string that hangs down and lift up the side of her vest like she has wings and is flying like an eagle. Well.... she got the vest hooked up in the back over her monitor box... and kept reaching back to get it loose. I was thinking Andre was gonna help her out- But he was way too much into his guitar solo- Realizing she was on her own, she fixed it.

 

I gotta say Barnev and the blonde one were a little complacent. Elise definitely tried to give my robot section some life, but wasn't successful. I yelled her name... but she didn't hear me. Just wanted to let her know that I cared- haha, but really. I do wish that the trio would have made it around the stage much more as well as out on the catwalks.

 

I do like how Meggo is more involved in the show- Playing guitar and singing chorus with Rock you- I do not like how Celine does not do an intro of the band.... you know- usually they will play a lick and she will scat and or try to sound like the instrument they play- none of that. Maybe they got tired with it.

 

From my side, I could see under the center of the stage, I could see someone with a Flashlight (Michel?) and a monitor to see Celine. I also saw Celine under the stage while she was doing costume changes-

 

For those of you sitting on the West side of the stage- Run down to the Floor at the end of MHWGO and get a chance to meet Celine as she exits- She shakes hands with people- I saw some people trying to get things to her to autograph, but did not see her sign them.

 

What else, I think there were some sound problems as one of the professionals noted in their review of the concert. It was a bit hard to hear the words sometime.

 

The fans were very loud- BUT did not give her long standing O's like I am accustomed to at a Celine concert. I was a bit disappointed.

 

For the person who asked about her performance of My Love- She did the same intro about how the song means so much to her ( you know getting in the mind set to push out the tear). She sang a few verses and then paused for awhile- Hamming it up for the cameras.... I thought I saw some Visine go in-

BUT she was unable to pull through tonight. I'm sure Rene will speak with her tonight to ensure that tear falls for tomorrow night's recording.

 

I've gotta say, I am saving the best for last FOR ME anyway- So as I mentioned, I was very close to the catwalk on the East side. Before the show while all the rows were empty (in front of the catwalk before the richy riches got moved) I was planning my attack for when she came near. There was only one security guy and he had a fanny pack weighing him down, so I thought I could take him. BUT FOILED- During The Power of Love- Who shows up??? CAMERA CREW and totally blocked my aisle (oh I was in seat 1 for easy access). So, I'm a bit disappointed about that... They foiled me again during another song---- I think I blocked it out because I was so angry- but don't you worry, I got my revenge- During I'm Your Angel- Celine starts the song off and then Barnev appears on the catwalk at the west end of the stage.... and where is Celine? Celine is chilling out looking at the robots on my side. So I pounce out of my seat, snake around the camera guy- Go right up to the catwalk and FINALLY meet/touch/talk with CELINEEEEE - She took my hand and we shook- I said it was a pleasure to meet her- Celine stared me right in the eyes- It lasted for seconds but it feels so much longer than that- She does a firm handshake and her hands are soft- She had such a calming effect- It was awesome- Then I panicked and flew back to my seat.... I SHOULD HAVE STAYED THERE- Then I was thinking about how after 16 years of being a fan, I finally got to see her FACE to FACE and it was during I'm your angel- I was about to squeeze out a "My Love" tear- but then realized the camera wasn't on me anymore- hahahaha but really- I was an amazing moment for me and I hope all you other Celine fans get to do the same....

SO just pay attention when she is going near a catwalk and rush! Security nor Celine minded at all. I was totally KICKING myself for not bringing a frog dressed up with 5's or some flowers or something- Oh yeah, so pay attention to the catwalks and also- Make a B-line for the West side of the stage during MHWGO- I am stating that LOGE 12 is east, LOGE 1 is West. LOGE 6&7 is North- She faces North a lot as that is where the camera on the slider cable is- and LOGE 17&18 is South. SO, if you are near LOGE 20 or 21, that is where Celine and her band enter and exit- GET DOWN THERE!!!

 

OH- and to the person who asked about TV/Monitors/Screens- 4 HUGE Clear Screens at the very top and then 8 LCD tvs at floor level, and that LED Box

 

Okay, and finally- I did take a few vids with my phone- First off, I apologize for my "Wooooooooooooo", Secondly, the sound quality, and lastly, the video quality- hahaha... better than nothing, right? BRING YOUR CAMERAS!!! Don't make the mistake I did!

Anyway- That was my night!! Amazing as always Celine- Thank you for an awesome experience!

I am kinda disappointed that there were no costume changes, or new songs, but on the other hand, I LURVE these costumes, they are the TCWT to me, so I am happy she kept them! LOL Maybe after a while new ones will come. I don't like the necklace of TIAMW though, doesn't fit the outfit at all! :pinch:

 

and btw damn Jay, :blink: how do you know where all those playbacks are from! :laugh: these are the ones she uses all the time I take it? -_- or is MHWGO different then the vegas one?! :w00t: they really have to btw! :doh:

 

I am very happy that SOL and FA will make it to the dvd!!! :clap: maybe tonight will be some changes, so they can choose for the dvd lol! It's cool that they made a notice out of the filming! :D

 

oh and LMAO at the Andre pix! But in Arras she was even worse, moving her hand through the rain on the stage and then moving her hand along his face and clutching on his leg! :laugh:

but Max, there are 15+ songs in the tourbook that didn't make it on stage... so I wouldn't hold my breath! ;)

Yep, and when they release it over here in Europe each country will have its own "version". Someone's going to have fun editing the references to Boston out and replacing each edition with the relevant city!
