Hopefully this time we'll see setlist and costume changes cause I doubt she'll record 2 concert with the same outfits. Not that it's something bad but I just think that she'll change them this time.

 

From everything I heard up to now on the news and everywhere here today, I wouldn't think there will be any costume changes tonight in Montréal. I saw an interview with Annie Horth and we saw the people who take care of all those costume for Céline, musicians, dancers. It seems already very complicated and with all the stress and also the DVD tonight I don't think they will change costume. As for the two different DVD and listening to René today, I understand that there will be two DVD's of the concert, the french one for francophone audiences like France, Québec....etc...and the other, the english one for the rest of the world. Then there will be also bonuses...like the documentary and other things that remain to be seen. Anyway that's part of the reason she's not going to make costume changes. They said that if there is a mulfunction with a costume tonight, she would have to have the same tomorrow....anyway....IMO we won't have both concerts unless we buy one or the other or both. That's what I think anyway...To be folllowed...

 

There is a lot of people already in Bell Centre right now and everyone seem very excited! Lucky guys! I would like so much to be there to see and hear how they are going to welcome our Céline. I can imagine how mad it's going to be.

As for the pacing of the show in Montréal, René said that Mégo and him looked at it many many times, many nights.. trying to put together a tracklist that everyone in Québec would like and want to hear, also considering that Céline has not done shows here since 8 years. Journalists interviewed many fans in front of Bell Centre and eventought many have been fans of Céline for years it will be their first time seing a Céline concert at a venue.

yeah that's funny, but didn't one of them recently died??

 

I understand the joke but yeah....in fact only René remains and maybe Jean Beaulne would still be with us I think. One just died very recently and the other who was a comedian died some years ago.

There was a red carpet for Céline show tonight. Everybody who's anybody seem to be there, all of the local showbizz...bigest singers, authors, actors, comedians, directors, talk show hosts, anchors, politicians from the mayer to Québec and Canada's cultural ministers, past Prime ministers, heads of TV's and big business and on and on....Everyone are so excited and praises Céline, especially for staying the same over the years and for all those Céline quality we all know her for, down to earth, generosity, strength, authenticity, simplicity, the fact that when they meet her she's always the same, even being the most famous and successful....Finally everyone is ALL SMILE and happy and very anxious to see the show.

 

It's 8h49 p.m. now, so I think Céline is on stage now!!!

On TVA news we saw Alexandra Diaz come out a few minutes to tell us in a very excited and emotional way how great Céline was and how fans were so excited. Apparently Céline began for the fans pleasure with the usual IDAN(which was and is a big hit here) followed by JOTI. There is a lot of french songs apparently. She came back a few minutes ago to present a report about all the stars who were on the red carpet. They were all very excited too. Isabelle Boulay said that if Céline had been an olympic athlete she would have won many medals for sure, the singer Daniel Lavoie praised her voice, her legs, Janette Bertrand would have liked to have her self confidence and more and more great and funny things about Céline. She just wen't back inside the Bell Centre because it's not over yet. It's 10h32 right now. Don't know more for now but everyone seemed emotional, happy and very very excited. :clap:
