I don't know how I feel about this, My Membership is up in January. I will renew because I want the discount on tickets. It wouldn't be so bad if the website was really on top of things. I have to agree with the others, I always get my news info here first.

40$ is too expensive. Most fan clubs only ask for $20. $25 was a 'fair' price. $30 I would think about it... $40 is just, let's say, not reasonable.

Do you get a solid gold bar with that or at least get the opportunity to name Celine's (possible) second child someday? Yeahhhhh, so this is pretty crazy! I think I won't be renewing my membership either. I mean, $25 is enough...and it's not like you get THAT good of anything, it would be different if they mailed you cool stuff every month or something. Maybe TC will read all these messages and decide to lower the price back down.

TeamCeline keeps getting better and better everyday! I can't believe this...for the past 6 years I've paid the $50 for a 3 year membership, now $40 for just one? I'll renew just for the tickets and stuff, but other than that TC is NO GOOD! AHHHHHHHH

This is absolutely rediculous! You know I would be very willing to pay the $40 if we got REAL exclusives...anything to show that they APPRECIATE the fans! Its true, $40 is about the norm for most fanclubs, but its worth it because the fans get oodles of extras and exclusives that you CANNOT find anywhere else. I`m glad I renewed only a few months ago..I just hope it lasts until it comes time to buy tickets for the tour! After that I don`t think I`ll be opening my wallet for this crap.

I've just bought TC tickets for Stockholm and the 10% discount has saved me approx $60, so I'm not going to complain (this year)

Well, I think one of her sister (Pauline) led the fanclub in the past but since mid 90s (or at least after MHWGO success) it's not the case anymore - it just become too huge I guess, but I'm not sure...

Anyways, now it's led by MusicToday who got the infos from her management, I don't think her sister is concerned anymore...

Anyways, my membership expired in mid October and I forgot the deadline to renew it so I did it now on Tuesday!

Haha, how lucky I managed it on the last day for $25!

 

But $40 is very excessive price... and if there is limit of only 2 tickeds for the entire tour, I don't think it's really worth it if you look at it only as that you get tix discounts....

 

But as for now I believe that TC guarantees me better seats at the concerts, even if they are not really cheaper.

I think we all need to email them and tell them how unhappy fans are about this. I know it probably won't do much, but at least they'll know. This is the largest Celine forum right? If enough of us email them maybe they'll realize how bad they screwed up.

And what about the fact that Team Céline tickets sale for Germany, Stockholm, Vienna is announced only ONE day in advance, without any mention of prices or a seatingplan??? We should hear about ticket sales at least a week in advance, so that we can make or choice and can think about it!
