clbmed02 Posted June 5, 2008 at 11:36 PM Posted June 5, 2008 at 11:36 PM Just got back from the concert with a bunch of friends from the forum. Awesome, Incredible  Both Celine and the audience were great: Security was really strict with full body searches and no cameras, although some people snuck them in. The Arena was outdoors with an end stage set-up.. Our seats were front-row center, could not have wished for anything better. I believe it was the same set-list as Amsterdam, but no Fade Away. At the start of RDMH, everyone ran up to the front of the stage and stayed there until the end of MHWGO. Celine thanked the audience alot in Dutch TAK TAK. Next stop Stockholm.... luciusbright Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:20 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:20 AM (edited) Thank you for the review~~~~~~ so,she didn't do the "RNTTRO",I'm so eager to hear that, though No matter what ,I do believe it was a amazing show ,but if there's no "fade away",then what's in stead of ...if"can't fight the feelin'"? It's great to hear you guys have a fantastic night~~~~~~~~~~~ Edited June 6, 2008 at 12:22 AM by luciusbright Quote S'il suffisait d'aimer...
hutz13 Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:39 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:39 AM Did she do "The Prayer" again? ... if yes was there Andrea on the video screen as well? Quote
Dionesque Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:52 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 12:52 AM Celine thanked the audience alot in Dutch TAK TAK. I'm sure you meant Dannish, not Dutch! Anyways, thank you for this first review, Christine! Great to hear you've had such great seats and such wonderful time at the show! I wonder now if she replaced "Fade Away" with any other song? Or she has than just shortened the show, comparing to Amsterdam?... That would be a pity... Rossum89 Posted June 6, 2008 at 02:04 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 02:04 AM Something interesting to note about Fade Away. I know that it was performed a few times at the start of the tour but since then has really only been performed on the in-the-round stage. For example, all the UK shows included Fade Away. The Croke Park show, an end stage, did not include Fade Away. Amsterdam, in-the-round stage, included Fade Away and now Denmark with the end stage, no Fade Away. I am seeing a pattern. But alot of people were still able to sneak in cameras and taking pictures with cell phones was acceptable. Nice full page article in today's local paper about the concert. Dionesque Posted June 6, 2008 at 09:31 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 09:31 AM It was only for "MHWGO" in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam she wore the black "tent" dress for "MHWGO" - the same one she wore in Paris and not the long dark purple one. It seems that they do replace those two gowns for the final encore over and over again. Maybe Celine can't decide which one suits her better and somebody should tell her something about the "tent" one.. CSCfan Posted June 6, 2008 at 10:49 AM Posted June 6, 2008 at 10:49 AM It's my own wishful thinking....but I really think they wanted to sing "Think Twice" after MHWGO in Amsterdam. To me, that explains why she was wearing the 'walking' dress (she used in Paris & Antwerp), instead of the purple dress. And of course they rehearsed it.... perhaps Celine wasnt up to it..
