I hope that Map to my Heart is not the cover of a Barry Goold song.

This Barry Goold song is called "Map of My Heart" while Celine's song is called "Map to My Heart." So I doubt it's the same song. Now I only pray the song isn't lousy like "Super Love." :doh: I hope it's a hidden gem like "Just Walk Away," which was a bonus track on the Canadian version of "The Colour of My Love" album.

 

ok, so it was established on page one half way down in this topic, that the single is using the "old" cover, that means there is a "new" cover? where is a link to this? i cant find it anywhere!

 

map to my heart sounds corny. but then if it is from the pople who brought "if i were you" and "superlove" then it should be good, because i love those songs, but then they also brought us "forget me not" which is celine's worst recorded song sense the year 1990! so i dont klnow...

 

I must disagree. I love "If I Were You" but "Superlove" (or is it "Super Love" ... whatever!) ... no no no no no. :doh:

 

I like "Forget Me Not." Especially when Celine hits the high note - it's my favorite part. :yes:

I love that song, for me one of the most beautiful of One heart :wub:

 

"Forget Me Not" is my least favorite track on the One Heart album right next to the title track and "Love Is All We Need." I would have preferred to have "All Because Of You" instead of "Forget Me Not" on the album.

"All Because Of You" and "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" were two tracks that appeared on a special DVD when they released a "A New Day Has Come" 2-disc set. You got the CD (which has the full version of "The Greatest Reward" - in the original release of the CD, a piece of the song was cut because Celine's voice cracks a little) and a DVD containing the two new songs, the "I'm Alive" music video and a video on the Vegas show.

 

"Coulda Woulda Shoulda," which I actually really like, ended up on "One Heart." Did "All Because Of You" end up on some international single as a B-side??? :hmm:

 

Im not sure if this was asked, but where can we buy this single in the USA? What are my options? Thanks :flowers:

The most reliable source of buying singles is amazon - just go to the German amazon.de site and use your amazon.com log-in there. It's as if you would be ordering from amazon.com. Shipping is pretty fast as well. German amazon is very reliable and I can only recommend it.

I just heard Taking Chances - i-Soul Extended Remix on the radio (Open radio in Croatia). They said that the world radio premiere of remix will be tomorrow but we got it one day before :clap: . I wasn't at home so I couldn't record it :down: . About remix, hmmm, it's nice to hear Celine remix after a long time but is it good? It's ok remix, the problem is it's totally new song, it has long intro and it doesn't sound at all like it's TC we know. IMO, there's no comparison between original and this but still, it's ok remix, certanly not the best.

 

I'm so interested to see how this song sounds as a remix. Where/when/how can we hear it tomorrow? That's too bad that you weren't that pleased with it.

It was included on the European single release and not the UK set which instead included "Blue Christmas," "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "All The Way."

Thats a shame because they should have a 2 track one as well for 1.99 so that it sells more.

I never even knew the song the orchestra was playing........

There's something wrong in their calculation, but good its not the 26h anymore, since it's a public holiday here.

We're down to only one version of the single? I don't want that one anymore - the video ain't the music video and the remix is not a good one!

 

Does anybody know if Map To My Heart will be avalible for download somewhere - for example iTunes?

I'm sure it will be available for download on Celine sites (under rare audio) and emule..until it is available on iTunes if it's not there right away.

 

But it's on the Japanese version of the album, isn't it? Does anyone know if it's possible to order the Japanese version through any local CD store, and if it will cost a lot more?

This remix isn't the best - but it's OK. I think Jason Nevins should have remixed it as he specializes in rock/guitar driven remixes (Kelly Clarkson, Anastacia etc.)

It's the same...the only difference is that one is a shortened mix for radio, the other one is just the music and the Dub has less vocals

aside from the obvious and previously mentioned......BEYOND THE WIZARD'S SLEEVE would be a great choice to give a lounge kick to the track :D

i just checked Australia's SonyBMG site and they listed TC single wich will release on Nov 3rd!
