I don't know...I've seen some tremendous talent on this forum. I've seen graphics and CD covers from fans that are far better than those that I see in stores, and ideas that would be fantastic. Don't sell the people on this forum short...we just don't have the opportunity or means, but I think some people here could make an incredible video!! I'd love to see what some of us could do! Quote

I showed her the video. Her comments... "It's OK" with that annoyed "WHATEVER" look on her face. Anyway... last night... around midnight... I heard a noise coming from the living room. I got up out of bed, sneaked into the room and CAUGHT HER! She was watching and listening to the Taking Chances video over and over again... SINGING ALONG!! I couldn't believe my eyes and ears!! THIS --- coming from a HARD ROCK junkie (Seether, August Burns Red, System of a Down, Element Eighty)!! I think she is more like her Mom than she is willing to admit! That's such a cute story. I got a similar one. I told my best friend about Celine's new song, and my best friend is also a rocker (Doors, Nirvana, heavy metal, that kind of stuff). I sent it to her on e-mail and.... SHE LIKED IT! And then I told her that Celine is not all about ballads, just because most of the stuff she released on singles are ballads. And she asked me to make her a CD/DVD with all rockish/upbeat songs from Celine. She's never gonna be a huge fan, but she's definately softening up to her I'm gonna wait till I get the album Taking Chances in my hands, cause I already told her there's one freakish song in there, where she's not going to recognize Celine (That's Just the Woman in Me), so I'll wait till I can give her that too. I know a lot of times, when someone is really into something then friends or family act like they hate it just because they're annoyed with the person's fanaticism. So my sister always trys to act diplomatic and says stuff like "she's very talented but i dont like her music". Meanwhile I played TCH a few times when the song first came out on my headphones but loud enough so she could hear. Of course an hour later I catch her whistling the song over and over again or trying to sing it, though she doesn't really know the words. I really like the concept and everything and the video does look good, could have done with a tighter edit though. Celine looks great but the stunt double should have been better. You're telling them to say whether they like the video or not and then shut up That's so primitively ignorant. I personally prefer to hear WHY people love or don't love something.
