It definately isn't the best selling album in France.....

Legend award for someone who has a new album oout sound pretty odd.
She can go there and simply perform...

I dunno which was the best selling artist in France this year...I could also be for Canada...I have no clue. The legend award is presented to singers with an outstanding contribution to the music world and since Mariah has one already it's time for Celine! This is the only way she can be and perform there other wise there wouldn't be any reason for it...

Saturday night divas, is filmed on sunday the 28th from 7.30 onwards, but the bafta birthday show apparently starts at 9.00pm that night...

I rekon Celine will probably be on 1st then leave, get changed and head straight for holborn were the bafta show will be held, or I wonder will she shun the whole redcarpet thing at the Baftas, and just arrive later for her performance??

i cant decide whether to apply 4 tickets for that show or just go to the redcarpet at the baftas to see her?? lol

I received this afternoon an email from Sony Bmg Spain:

SPAIN PROMO FOR TAKING CHANCES

El videoclip oficial de “Taking Chances” lo estrenaremos la semana que viene, el día 17 de Octubre en los informativos nacionales ( una parte ) y en programas magazine como Corazón Corazón etc…por supuesto después lo enviaremos a los canales musicales de turno.

---Next 17th the video will be on Tv news and programmes, aswell will be send to tv music stations.

Desafortunadamente no vendrá a España de promo. Vamos a hacer promo en París el 6 de Noviembre. Con lo cual la semana de la salida aparecerá en multiples programas de tv y en prensa diaria EL PAIS, EL MUNDO, etc y alguna femenina tipo Yodona.

---Finally she won't come to spain for promo but the spanish medias will move to Paris next 6th november for interviews..., and Céline will be in all magazines and newspapers.

Respecto a las Radios Cadena 100 empieza este findesemana a rotar el primer single. Rac en Cataluña también…

-- The song is in more radios each week.

La promo será:

- Fuerte campaña de PLV , es decir en el punto de venta, Carrefour, Fnac y ECI

--- Promo at the supermarkets and comercial centers (music shops)

- Campaña de Tv

It`s like the British version of the Oscars/Grammys

They are ysually shown live on TV but this is just a concert to celebrate BAFTA`s birthday so it will be recorded and shown a few weeks later

I strongly hope she will sing Think Twice live on the UK television. This is what I wish. I don't care for any other song than TT live. One live performance of TT is my dream for the UK. Makes Hideaki cry.

The musical superstars will join Alicia Keys in performing some of their classic tracks for a one-off TV special entitled Saturday Night Divas. The show, hosted by Myleene Klass, marks the culmination of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

"To get artists of this calibre from across the world is a great coup," says ITV's controller of music and events Guy Freeman. "I'm sure that this collection of amazing performances will not only mean a lot to those who've been fundraising in October, but will also be a real treat for all fans of great divas."

Also taking to the stage will be British acts Girls Aloud, Jamelia and Leona Lewis, plus R&B queen Chaka Khan.

And there are two more musical treats lined up for late autumn. An Audience With Celine Dion features the Quebec-born songbird performing her hits and debuting new material, while Ireland's famous sons are to perform a musical medley on Westlife Live On Demand.

Yip - She`ll probably just be one of the first performers and then hop in a Chrylser outa there :giggle:

I`m gonna find out if they allow late comers for the Diva thing and then try and make both

Nearly all guests at Wetten dass..? also give an interview, later published online and there's also a magazine about the show released a week before the show, so there might be an article about Céline in there.

Celine being on The X Factor was mentioned on Radio 1 this morning. Louis Walsh (X Factor judge) was talking to Scott Mills about the upcoming live shows and Scott was disgusted by the fact he was due to attend the show on the 27th, the same show as Celine. But Louis defended her, saying she was a great singer and he would go anywhere to watch her perform.

Thanks Louis for defending her! Glad to hear someone sticking up for Celine on UK radio for once.

She will most definitely sing TT. If she didn't it would be very strange..... It is her biggest hit here and she sings it at every concert I have been to.

Plus she will get a kick out of singing it as she hasn't for so long...

She better do NO NO NO NO cos its soooooo disappointing when she doesn't
