It isn't beyond the realms of possibility for Celine to get to number 1 in the singles charts in the UK again. Back in 1997-98 an artist had to sell at least 150,000 singles to even have a chance of getting number 1. Now it's closer to 20,000 so bearing in mind Celine sold over a million copies of "Think Twice" and "My Heart Will Go On" and giving the fact that it appears she's going to be doing her best UK promo in years, then it's a high possibility she could get to number 1 with "Taking Chances." She really deserves more than 2 number 1 singles here.

 

Moreover, I would love to see her on The Friday Night Project, she would be perfect on that!! I know what you mean about Jonathan Ross, but it would still be great for her to go on it, regardless of what questions she is asked. Antony Cotton won't be on in November so she won't appear on that but she might do Paul O Grady. Parkinson is almost obvious, as is GMTV, but I agree it would be good to see her on T4 in some way. Also Children In Need is in November so it would be good to see her on that as well. Not a lot of demands there then.

I'd love her to appear on Jools Holland. She definately has the talent. Also, it'd be cool if she were on Jonathan Ross but I don't think he likes her and I don't know if she'd understand him or get his sarcasm and funny rude jokes. He's bound to ask what it's like to have sex with an old man for example.

Please don't even try get Celine talk about her sex with Rene. She can say so many things we could never expect.

Well the reason why it upsets me is: firstly the voices are never like the orginal, secondly it's a american movie/cartoon etc in English, so keep it that way and thirtly.. Ich spreche ein klein bissen deutsch... so I can't understand a thing!

 

I was a BIG BIG fan of ALF at the time... and they had this attraction with him and the Gremlins... and the synchonized voice was sooooooo irriating, too high, it sounded so stupid! It killed the whole attraction for me

Oh and they won't synchronise Celine on Wetten,dass... They'll just have the translator's voice from the off and put it over hers. Which is even worse because you'll get this mishmash of voices If he'll interview her at all. Last time she just said "wunderbar" and thanks you nice yes yes "wunderbar" "danke schön" after she performed.

But there's a better one, when she was in Germany in 2002! She also sang Was bedeute ich dir, before the host played that song! Céline really listened closely and critical! So cute!!

 

There was also a commercial with a black panter for ANDHC, in which she said something in german!

i Love seeing Celine on Oprah, it's a good hour of Celine, Oprah usually dedicates the whole show to Celine, and it's usually a very informative interview...and it's GREAT promotion...a lot of people watch Oprah, and a lot of others that don't, tune in when they hear Celine is on.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was for "One Heart." I know people who prefer Roy and/or Cyndi's versions to "I Drove All Night" more, but they typically don't say too much negative things about Celine's version. However, each person I've played "One Heart" for gets this disgusted look on their face, says something like Britney Spears should have recorded it, and that it definately isn't a Celine song. And that's being nice. LOL

The best promo Celine could ever get is to be on Oprah, im sure the reason Miracle sold soo much is cause Oprah did a whole show with Celine otherwise we wouldn't know.

 

Oprah Winfrey is the most successful woman on showbiz everyone in the US listens to what she has to say, if Oprah says the CD is great ,sells will increase the next day that's a fact, it happens to all the books and products she has on her show. And R&K live , that's the most successful morning show in America for decades now so she must go there too.
