In Brazil, a lot of couples have frequently picked Beauty And The Beast or Because You Loved Me as their wedding song. Particularly, I wouldn't pick one of those ones... I'd pick Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore or A New Day Has Come as my wedding song.

I'm pritty much the same person,but if one day i get to marriage,i'd like to hear Goodbye's because this song means a lot in my life and is related with many things.....if i hadn't heard this song,maybe i wouldn't have been here with you today... :yes:

pour que tu m'aimes encore, i absolutely love that song and think it's so pretty or I would go with If that's what it takes too, seeing no one in my family speaks french lol!

but people know how obsessed I am...and i think they would just kind of roll their eyes...and celine's kind of my personal interest, anyway.

For me it would have been "Power of love" if it wasn't a cover,because I would like the song to be just Celine.

I can't decide between "Have You Ever Been In Love", "Partout Je Te Vois" and "If That's What It Takes". For the first dance, it would have to be one of the slow ones, but "If That's What It Takes" is my favorite song and it would have to be played at some point. It would be interesting to see if anyone else recognized it, since I'm the only Céline fan that I know in real life. :)

 

Not that I'm getting married anytime in the near future. :P

For me, the "ceremony" would begin with "I Know What Love Is" and when we're pronounced married, "A New Day Has Come" (radio remix) would start playing immediately ... for it definitely would be a new day and the sweetest day. ANDHC would be, in actuality, the exit song but I would insist everyone stay seated until it's over. :blushing1: Edited by nickah79

wow! I kinda like this topic. In my case it would be "Because you love me" since Celine has so many wonderful song to choose. But you know as a girl who wants to dream I want Celine to sing my marriage song someday. But that's a fantasy...LOL.

My wedding song 13 years ago was "Colour of my love". We actually included the last words "With this ring our lives will start swearing that we'll never part" on our invitations with Celine's name under the quote. Also in our wedding video we played " Half way to Heaven". Edited by fra1972

Funny You should ask!! I have been married twice... 1st song was "Power of Love"... Second was "The Colour of my Love" The second was much more appropriate... and the Ceremony... BEAUTIFUL!! With such a beautiful son g to set the tone and mood for our reception- romance was in the air!!
