I know everyone wants to hear the song "Taking Chances" and so do I, but we know that Rene & Celine have a press conference planned for next week. This is Celine's Next Big Project so they want to keep it a secret and reveal it all to the press and public at once. Plus I don't think they want the song to leak and by posting it on Team Celine they would be taking that chance (even if that is the name of the album). Also by keeping it a secret it is making everyone even more interested in how the songs will sound, how will Celine sound....so if it is a marketing strategy, I think it is working. I think we will either get the song later this week or early next week (a few days before the press conference).

 

And who ever made the post about Celine's radio future, posting the song on Team Celine has nothing to do with that. They already have a radio date set - either Sept 10 or 17 - rather they post the song on Team Celine today or had posted it 2 weeks ago has nothing to do with her radio future.

 

 

How do you know for sure that the press conference is gonna be next week?? :blink: :blink:

...are you close to Celine's marketing? :blink: :blink:

If that's true (what you say about the strategy),I really DON'T KNOW whether it's gonna work or not...

hope that will work,for sure ...but...do you think that only a press conference could get things better than they are now?Don't know... :shrug:

Let's be positive. I know that all of us wanna listen to an extract from Celine's new single. I also know that TeamCeline should've already given us the opportunity to listen to it. As everyone can notice... NOTHING HAS COME OUT YET... BUT, I THINK WE SHOULD TRY UNDERSTAND... AND HOPE THE VERY BEST FOR CELINE'S NEW RELEASES... :thumbsup2:

I just begin to wonder if there is not a reason for this waiting but I mean something like that : they have heard Madonna' and Britney' s news songs and they realise that Céline's one won't be able to sell more than those of the singuers... :wacko:

I made that comment. As before, aren't TC supposed to be the first place in the NET to introduce Céline's new song (and the rest of the album)? If they don't do it now, as soon as possible, I'm sure the song will eventually appear on other sites and they will be made a fool of themselves, and WE, the TC members who have payed $25 for their membership, we'll feel cheated and fooled.

 

It might not have nothing to do with radios for you, but time is running, and while Madonna, Britney or Annie Lennox have already her songs on radio, Céline still have not revealed her first single in her fan club, neither they have done a press conference :msn-tongue:

Yes it seems. :kicking: I remember that for d'Elles we had the first extract 5 months ( :wacko: ) before the album was released...

So that was very very early (too much! ) and now for TC it's so long...it will be too late! :glare: lol

 

as a lot of people here (everybody I think... ^_^ ) I really don't understand them...

We are talking about CELINE DION not just a singuer...THE singuer... So...can't understand it!

 

But maybe you're right and this night we'll have Eyes on me as extract... OMG :mdr: :mdr: (THAT'S A JOKE all right??? 'cause I don't want people to have an heart attack!!!! :mdr: )

eyes on me seems to be great and as i said before, it might be perfect cause with this celine's new look, all eyes are on her = EYES ON ME

Good God, you haven't heard the track yet and you are changing the first single. Just watch out: Sony may even listen to you and release something different without video, promo or anything like it was the case with "Beautiful Boy" and "Miracle". Support the first single cuzz it can be a hit or at least can be heard by many different audiences - AC and POP in my opinion. This is where its strength lies and as Céline's first singles have always been very prominicious and very well crafted in terms of what's yet to come this one is absolutely perfect for Céline's vintage album concept.

 

Let them and US as well promote the first single first and then we will think what's next.

i agree with what most of you posted before: if we will hear the new single of Celine's upcoming album in the same time when it's gonna be released on the radios...what's the point of paying 25$ a year? Anyway...I thinks it's about time we heard at least a minute or so from ONE of the songs on the bloody album. Honeslty, TC should have made those changes on the fanclub page a long time ago...NOT NOW... :nono:

I appreciate your thoughts on Eyes On Me and I see you're intrigued about the title and I'm SURE it will be a fabulous song since Delta Goodrem is a skilled and emotional song writer but I myself can't imagine Céline not releasing a theme song first off her album:

These albums were special and even The Reason has been renamed in last minute and Miracle hasn't been released at all, it still shows she has a scheme with which she wants to present her albums to the wide audience. She hasn't chosen "Taking Chances" as the title of the album for nothing - it has many different meanings on different levels. Especially at this point of her career and the state of the music industry.

Uhmm :mellow: I don't get what you exactly mean with that, how can we support the single -and all Céline's future singles and cd's- if we don't even have a commercial cd single in stores to buy? :ermm: Is there a better way to support a single for us than that?

 

I really hope this time that we get all the singles of the album released and available to buy in stores (and I don't mean digital singles :sick: )!!

I don't mean supporting aka buying something - as you can see Céline's new music and project is suffering from an acute lack of Sony's interest and promotion. What we can do is supporting it by spreading the word to the ppl on the net and to our friends who always think of Céline as My Heart Will Go On balladeer type of singer.
