It was about 25000 at the consert, acoording to the paper the next day.

I came back from Nice today, and i had an amazing time.

Great show, but the only downside for me was that I does not understand a word of french, so i kind of missed the point of wha she was saying between the songs. And it felt like I was the only one singing along to her english songs...

That tracklist makes me feel better about not being able to see her on tour... I mean, I love her, she's amazing, but that tracklist is just not what it should be...

Are you people crazy? Why complain so much? Okey, I would have enjoyed Alone, but I loved The Prayer just as much (tears came to my eyes in fact).

Destin was for me one of the greatest moments of the concert (J'irai ou tu iras would have been a lot better with JJG though )

 

I really loved the playlist (not too fond on MHWGO as a song, but I loved in in concert nevertheless and I understand why she sings it - as well as TPOL, ABM and PQTME).

 

 

Really, why do we have to critique so much? Why can't we just be happy for what we have?

 

I think some do this cause they see too many concerts (for me it was the first and may be the last), or some because they can't go (in romanian we have a saing: 'vulpea care n'ajunge la struguri zice ca sunt acri" - 'the fox that doesn't reach the grapes claims they're sour" - means that when someone can't reach something will try to convince himself and everyone around that it wasn't worth it anyway).

 

 

All in all for me the concert was breathtaking! her voice sounded incredible on that stadium and she seemed so happy (at the end she asked one of the dancers to pick up the flowers from the stage and he was a bit puzzled - he didn't seem to understand why, but for Celine they meat a lot, I'm sure)

 

 

I'll come back with pics and videos (I have only 30-60mins of songs from the first half and audio for the full concert but a kinda bad quality).

I don't think I gave a review of this show so I will do it briefly here.

This was my first end-stage show and I loved it. After seeing the magic of the centre-stage from nearly every angle, I was a bit worried that the end-stage would not live up to expectations. Of course, it was strange not to see Celine rise through the floor onto the stage, or to have the added spectacle of the moving screens, but this show somehow seemed more personal. It reminded me of the first show I saw in London in 1997. It was great to have Celine facing the crowd throughout the show and she sounded incredible. She looked beautiful. The woman next to me was crying with sheer emotion at several moments and the general atmosphere was great. People seemed reluctant to dance or to stand but that didn't stop me making the most of the occasion.

 

And I cannot tell you how happy and excited I was when she introduced The Prayer and began singing with Andrea Bocelli. I thought I would never see this song live and it hadn't occurred to me that she might add it to the Nice show. Okay, so Alone was removed. A small price to pay I think, if it means seeing and hearing Celine sing this song live right in front of me! A definite highlight of this tour...
