I went yesterday and i had never seen a lighting stunt as yesterday...

They used every corner of the place filled with lights....

It was wonderfull

It was better then O2 (lights)

Wow I never knew Ziggy was so popular, I didn't think people even knew that song..

Does she have to cry every single time she sings My Love, though? It's starting to seem a tiny little bit fake, like maybe she just does it because people find it touching.

I think you're right but I don't think Celine is trying to be insincere. I think when she first sang it she obviously was moved to tears. I think it was a special moment for her and her fans that night. Although the song obviously moves her, I don't think it would bring her to tears every time she sings it. However, I think she each time she sings it she tries to find that emotion and wants to share it with the audience.

 

Unfortuantley, sometimes it will come across as forced and therefore it will detract from her genuinely emotional performances.

 

But I don't think she is trying to deceive anyone. I think she is just desperately trying to feel the emotion this song brings/brought out in her as it is probably one of the few songs she has recorded which really speaks to her personally. I love it.

Oh I didn't mean that she was being insincere, not at all! I know the song genuinely means a lot to her. But I know that even songs that make me cry, don't make me cry every single time I hear them! So I just found it a little unbelieveable that she really feels those emotions quite that intensely, every single time she performs it.

Oh I know what you mean... I was going to post something about it myself but you beat me to it.

 

I really like this song. Celine performs it so well. It was always a favourite of mine on the album but now I don't even listen to the recorded version... It's so empty compared to the live versions... I love the raw emotion in her voice when she performs it live.

 

I saw her in the UK three times last week and every time was different. That song had me captivated beginning to end every time.

Though the songs are ALL good---well---some is un-necessary----I think she needs here NEWER tracks.

 

C'mon. Where are the new 2000-era songs? And why can't she do UNHEARD songs from the other albums. I'd die if I hear "Piaf chanterait du rock" and "Papillon" live.
