Costa Santos Posted July 18, 2007 at 12:46 PM Posted July 18, 2007 at 12:46 PM the truth is very simple - sony and celine already forgot about DELLES now all they care about is her new english album but dont worry - 3 weeks after its release they'll forget about it too Dunno why you think it's gonna happen... Celine's thought about her comeback to the top (...) And that's what's gonna happen... I'm quite sure of it. kdw123 Posted July 22, 2007 at 01:25 AM Posted July 22, 2007 at 01:25 AM I'm sooo confused. Are they going to release A Cause as a single? Celine & Rene both told reports in an interview (info posted on this forum) that "Si j'etais quelqu'un" will be the next single. Considering there has been basically no promotion for this CD, it's not doing that bad on the charts. Quote

Leenu Posted July 22, 2007 at 06:20 PM Posted July 22, 2007 at 06:20 PM Considering there has been basically no promotion for this CD, it's not doing that bad on the charts. Same problem everywhere? Can't believe nor understand why this superb album is neglected this way Is it simply a language barrier or something else? After all, D'eux did so well in the 90's... I bet most people in Europe haven't even noticed that she's released D'elles. Hoping for better publicity for the upcoming English project! Shaun Posted July 22, 2007 at 07:17 PM Posted July 22, 2007 at 07:17 PM Sadly I think it now appears that the album was released as an advert in itself for the forthcoming World Tour, that's the only thing that makes any sense to me as the complete lack of support from Sony is unbelievable. Either that or any plans to promote the album have now been shelved in favour of an all out publicity trail for the new English album. dj4celine Posted July 22, 2007 at 07:30 PM Posted July 22, 2007 at 07:30 PM The BIGGEST surprise that I got today while watching Channel [v] - one of India's premier music channel - is that IMMENSITE was played That is so STRANGE VH1 India played JNVOP for a few days in their VH1 New section but Channel [v] playing Immensite is totally out of this world...well, not so anymore If this is the case, then I think they are gonna release D'elles in India As for now, I think with almost nill promotion for this wonderful album, I think its a miracle totally due to Celine-power and the album's incredibility that it is still on the charts Other than that, no credit to Sony for forsaking such a wonderful album Quote

Except in franch-speaking countries, D'eux wasn't so succesfull in Europe. I think SSDA had more success. Hmm don't be so sure! D'eux was gold in the UK, the only french album with that record to date, and here in the Netherlands it was quite succesful! SISDA wasn't... SISDA had the luck of being swept along with the last days of MHWGO fever... Oke no promotion, I can understand that (sadly) from Sony....but not releasing actual singles is really beyond me!! They always wait for the last moment for a song to climb in the airplay charts and then eventually release a single, if we're lucky! they should have released the single of Immensité a week or two after the radio release and put the video or something on it... then it could have been a small hit... but now.... even 1F4T was better promoted Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Shaun Posted July 23, 2007 at 12:08 PM Posted July 23, 2007 at 12:08 PM If this was a rare occurence by Sony and we all knew they were just waiting to promote the new English album I honestly wouldn't be bothered but sadly this has been the story with Sony since Celine's comeback in 2002. They heavily support the 1st single and promote the album during it's debut week and then they very quickly forget about it and drop all support, or make terrible decisions with regard to it. I'm sure we all remember "I'm Alive" taking 5 months to release, and then the worst single decision of all time that was "Goodbye's The Saddest Word." Or how about following "I Drove All Night" with "Have You Ever Been In Love." Then there was the fleeting support for 1F&4T and Miracle and the total non-support for AND...LILV. This latest complete lack of support shouldn't be surprising. What baffles me about everything is Sony are a record company and Celine is potentially one of their biggest sellers yet they just don't seem to care.
