My heart will go on - Oscars.... what a awful rendition ! It's the night whe she was about to break "the heart of ocean", isn't it?And I think it's the same performance when she miss the note... All by myself - grammy award with David Foster at the piano - her voice "broke" during the note... .... lol what will happen this time? Quote

Céline's Blues Posted February 7, 2007 at 02:53 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 02:53 PM seb , celine is only human and we could all tell just how nervous she was during the last jerry lewis telethon - and there is a huge diffrence between this telethon and the oscar "i knew i loved u" is a very difficault song to sing...she has to switch keys all the time and sing not in her natural register . that's why i hope she'll sing it a bit higher specialy the beginning , i think i'll be more nervous than her <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I know I won't be nervous for her at all. She will do just fine! And glad to see someone else thinks of her ABM renditon at Grammies exactly the same. She was vocally dried out, completely no power. Anyway I wouldn't call the MHWGO rendtion at the Oscars awful, but it was pretty mediocre. I also don't think it's a very difficult song to sing. If she does it (to be honest, I think she will skip it... ) , I think she will do it with more power (well, not screaming! ) ! It's easier for her to take it a tone or two higher. thevoice Posted February 7, 2007 at 03:11 PM Posted February 7, 2007 at 03:11 PM u'll regret saying it , u r sooooooo gonna regret after hearing the new french songs and later this year the new english album but anyway - we have one very long note seb in this song "you'd beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" now in a live performance i dont think she would be able to hit this note so softly+this is too risky cause it's too high and too long for her voice so either she'll work around this note or we'll get a powerful long note anyway Quote
