The time period really doesn't matter; the question is whether it can be produced in native HD or only as upscaled content. If they shot the concert on video, there is nothing that can be done to create a true HD product - any blu-ray release would simply be upscaled to 1080p. It would still be nice to have, but not much different to a regular DVD (which we'd all still like to have anyway, I'm sure). If they shot the concert on film, then the negative can be scanned at native HD - even at 4K - and it would be a truly HD experience. The Queen blu-ray you referenced was sourced from 35mm film. My father got bored after maybe 30 minutes of the show Recorded it on a VHS and watched it a lot as a child and forcing my friends to watch it with me even though they wanted to watch a Disney. By any chance, do you know which songs were cut from the TF1 broadcast ? The timme running you gave is shorter than the YT video MaiconSC posted.I always thought we had the complete version of the show broadcasted here, even the backstage parts before the show just like in Canada, and I remember full LCMM and even Regarde moi. But I could be mistaken, it was a looooong time ago I was a child back then.Think it was broadcasted again in 2001 or 2002 on TF1 , don't remember if it was the complete version or shortened. In 1999, for ACDS we also had a live broadcast on TF1 and CherieFm (radiostation). Different from the DVD we got 'cause it was recorded live on one night only (On DVD recording vocals are filtered and it uses shots from the 2 night in a row she performed in Stade de France). On multimedia section of this forum you can get the TV rip audio from the 1st broadcast, but never could find the video rip from it. Someone has it ? In 2012 for Sans Attendre release AUDS was broadcasted again after a new documentary but it was the DVD version... Quote
