This album was besides that track produced by David Foster if I am not mistaken, and a lot of the tracks on this album sounds like demos, but I don't see you giving Foster a membership in that alliance of yours.

 

Besides how many crap tracks hasn't your saviour Goldman given her? Sure he has given her some of her best songs but surely not all of them are great, yet you choose to not take notice of this and name Goldman as the ultimate need for Céline.

 

I agree that somethings given by the Swedish team are things I wished she'd never recorded but that doesn't take away that they have brought her some tracks which she couldn't have done without these past years.

 

Don't be so quick in categorizing monsuir. They all gave her a little bit of both.

 

And I hope we can atleast unite on that we both hope that those days are over. And that the "Céline team" will be a bit more critical when approving her material.

The whole album, including "My Precious One" (penned by Peer ), was produced by David Foster.

According to this Romanian press release, Céline will perform "I Knew I Loved You" live at Oscar on Feb., 25 with the Quincy Jones Orchestra.

In gala de decernare a celor mai importante premii din industria cinematografica americana Celine Dion va interpreta impreuna cu Quincy Jones Orchestra, in premiera, piesa “I Knew I Loved You”, versiune a celebrei “Deborah’s Theme” din filmul “Once Upon A Time In America” in regia marelui Sergio Leone.

 

Cantecul "I Knew I Loved You" este inclus pe albumul "We All Love Ennio Morricone", un tribut adus maestrului de catre mari artisti internationali precum Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Yo Yo Ma, Andrea Bocelli, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Renée Fleming, Eumir Deodato, Daniela Mercuri, Chris Botti, Roger Waters si Dulce Pontes.

 

Albumul va fi lansat spre sfarsitul lunii februarie, iar insusi Ennio Morricone a reorchestrat si inregistrat noi versiuni a catorva dintre capodoperele sale: "The Tropical Variation" apare pentru prima data in aceasta forma pe cand "Cinema Paradiso" si "Gabriel's Oboe" sunt versiunile clasice.

 

Piesa inregistrata de Andrea Bocelli este o copozitie noua a lui Morricone si constituie inca o surpriza pe care ne-o aduce acest album!

 

Ennio Morricone a compus special intro-uri si outro-uri ca sa creeze link-uri intre piese dand astfel continuitate intregului album.

 

O alta mare surpriza este ca toate piesele, in forma lor finala, sunt aparitii discografice noi-noute, niciodata inregistrate pe  vreun album!

I have confidence in Quincy Jones. He ain't David Foster. This song isn't meant to be ABM 2 but a calm tune. If you listened to the instrumental version, Stevo, you will find that there is little place for screaming.

Sorry, but we hadn't any official words on the track, yet. The rumenian press release is the most reliable one at the moment. In the past article they mentioned "I Knew I Loved You" is based on "Once Upon A Time In America" soundtrack, without specifying anything. But I think this "Deborah's Theme" is just a variation on the main theme, maybe just different instruments. Just wait and see.
