A flight to Vegas

Said and done. Robert Wells jumps into plane to Las Vegas and after landing he met Celine at her hotel. The recording took place in the special studio which was build for Celine.

- Everything has gone great. It's like a movie, unbelievable, tells Wells' "boss" PJ Jägerhult.

What kind of song have you recorded?

- It's a ballad with lots of piano in it. People fell off their chairs when she sang in the night.

You have talked with Robert after the recordings. What did he say?

- He is super glad and says everything has gone well

Today, 48 hours after arriving to Las Vegas with Wells, they land again in Sweden

4 months to go before November....i guesss it is never too long...this is exactly how all of us waited the release of the French album when the news announced in Dec 2006 and now we all got D'elles in hand... 4 months ..4 months....4months....fast fast come....i dont care what genre of songs celine recorded for this english album....something new something fresh something unheard something unknown....will turn out to be great, heard and play every where in the world and turn out to be well-known...no other reason, simply because She is Celine Dion, the true and talented Diva of all time.... Celine rules the music world....

the most exciting news for me is the fact that she is recording this album at night unlike her recent albums - her voice sounds the best at night ...she talked about it alot...

I've never heard of him. I don't think he's really popular in China. Maybe a concert from him had been on TV before. That's how they get the 600million audience. But I doubt it's true.

Celine recorded a new ballad with a "lots of piano" in it.. The crew fell off the chair when she sang.

Why didn't I know about this? I feel so un-swedish, .

 

What makes me feel a bit more un-swedish is that I don't like Robert Wells. Sure he is a typical Swedish humble artist who doesn't try to show himself better than anybody else, but still I think his concerts are so melodramatic!! And even though he normally has a real orchestra the sound feels really cheap.

(Both are from Dalhalla, a venue in the middle of the Swedish bush, it's an old quarry, and the acoustics are superb - I saw Diana Krall there last summer.)

Well...a long time since I came here for the latest "english" news...on the french section we don't have very important news for the instance..

 

I think I'm a little in late for a lot of informations so I could be wrong but I read a lot of com' where people want to have a R'N'B album.....

 

I can't believe it... For me OH is definitely the english album I like the least. I listened just after the released etc...but now it never leaves the shelf.

 

For me a new album full of R'N'B would just be... For me FIY is the best english album, TCOML is wonderful too, I think that with time Celine becomes better in french songs. I mean, before D'Eux )and above all SSDA since there was LTAL in beetwen) the english songs sounds better for me than the french one. More emotions, more strengh, more "everything"...

 

Now since SSDA Celine has such better song in french than in english I think. (usually..cause she had great song like IS or some others) 1FE4T is the french album I like the least. But I must recognize that SSDA, D'Eux are wonderful. They are albums I can't grow tiref of unlike OH, ATW and even ANDHC.

D'Elles is the height in Celine's carrer I think.

I think that she wants to do so much "commercial" songs and albums in english. It begins too superficial and hackneyed, and for me that's a pity.

 

I really hope that this album won't be a pure commercial release. I definitely don't want to hear Celine singing R'N'B another time...or the song should be amazing...

By the way...I hope she will surprise us and "create" a such amazing album in english as D'Elles is in french.

now i hope so.. 2 discs are needed... becuase if there will be RnB songs along with calm ballads rock and now even jazz song... they can't be put all together... i hope she will seperate it... because it would something like listening One Heart Think Twice on the same cd... various types of music and different songs are great but they shouldn't be mix together.... they could be only if the release 2-disc release

it sounds like they want to put something for everyone on this album...it's gonna be so strange , i hope for a general concept atleast so it wont sound redicilous .

rene really wants this album to sell alot - i guess they want to include diffrent kind of songs so they'll have more control on the promotion and singles...if they release an RNB single let's say and it would flop they would always be able to release a jazz tune or a rock number as the next single

 

i think they r playing really safe with this release , maybe too safe if she is really gonna put all of those diffrent producers and songwriters on the album .
