Time has flown by! But for me the album still seems fresh. Lots of songs on there like My Love, Taking Chances, Alone, Fade Away etc still seem really new in my head, but also somehow instant classics I'll love forever.

UPDATED SALES IN THE US!

 

Taking chances (album) has sold 1,064,000 copies to date (9,000 since August 2009)

Taking chances (single) has sold 455,000 digital copies to date, almost GOLD!

Belgium: 30,000 PLATINUM

Just watched the video again... damn she looked so good! And in all honesty it was a great video! Only a bit too much arm waving by Céline :whee: :giggle: I only wished they continued on the 'What's Next' part :down:

 

I still love the album, I think it aged pretty well! Great songs like TC, A, SOL, ML, SS, TT, FA, TJTWIM and SOLA still sound current. But Alone should have never been a single! :rolleyes: Surprise, Surprise was a chance they didn't take :glare:

Anyway, that whole period she looked amazing! Promotion we got a lot of Celine everywhere.

And another incredible social media strategy, where Celine and Sony celebrate with her almost 25 million Facebook followers this great anniversary

 

A joyfull week filled with facts and figures about Taking Chances, flashbacks to her recording videos, throw backs to her music video's.. there's so much incredible content to share in a week like that, that it's probably very hard to make choices!

 

At least when you don't do it at all, you don't have to choose! That's a great option to... f**k her legacy :)

I don't think they actually filmed videos for those songs on that day. I think they just took advantage of the set and film crew to make a promo.
