According to Sony BMG Spain, "Surprise Surprise" is confirmed to be on the album and it will last 05min 14sec. :w00t:

Good news! :) I thought Kara confirmed this on her site several weeks back when they mentioned "Surprise Surprise" as "slated for release."

I think those songs are definite but they are still busy with other songs from what I understand so I'm expecting at least 4 or 5 songs more than this tracklist. :msn-wink:

amazon.co.uk have got the tracklisting up for the new album all i can say is.....i hope theyre wrong!!!

folks this album will receive HEAVY promotion. Since you might read in the TC single topic I spoke to a guy from SONY BMG Germany. He's been to Vegas last week, listened to 10 songs and said it was fresh but not "trying to be fresh" if you know what I mean. It's not superficial, you know?! Many people will be surprised by this album. Rene commented on every song and mentioned that one song was so emotional that celine started to cry. she sounded like janis joplin. unfortunately he couldn't remember the name of the song.

 

there will be also heavy press and media announcements with articles and stories about celine as well as print adds in magazines and tv spots.

 

the three versions of TC are in the planning but it might be possible that the 3rd version might not be released. still nothing is set yet! if they release it, there will be some perfume gift in it.

 

this is all I know hope it made you day a little :wink:

Damit meine ich, es ist nicht aufgesetzt. Nicht künstlich. It's not superficial and it's not lookoing like she's trying to be someone else who she istn't...got the point?!

Sounds good. It's good she's working with some new people on the album. They might be the refreshing element she needs for her sound. I'm really looking forward to hear the outcome.

 

Though, I'll rest skeptisch about the "heavy promotion" part until I'll see it. SonyBMG and heavy promtion, usually that's like cats and dogs - doesn't go together well. Did he say anything specific about Celine's promotion tour in Germany?

The more news we receive about the album and single release the more exciting everything gets. It's also refreshing to realize that after the past 3/4 albums, Celine (and Sony) will be doing all they can to support this album and make it a success. Bring it on.

They have to support the album or the tour won't sell....

 

I hope there will be only Céline on German TV in some weeks :)

 

Did I mention that Wetten Dass in Leipzig on the 10th of November was confirmed to me by that Sony guy? Well, now you have it! So far there aren't any other plans for this time to promote the song ( like other TV shows)

She has a month an a half off, starting mid October through the end of November. Thats plenty of time to do some decent promo.

in october she will be in europe so we can t expect a US promotion before coming back from europe. but how long is she gonna stay in europe? maybe she will start working on a french album, cause last time, she was in France, 2005, the idea of D'ELLES was born

I got an email from the Sony Music Store and they didn't list Taking Chances on the "Upcoming albums" list at all. :evil:

 

I did a search for Celine and the album came up in all 3 formats but said it wasn't available and no

other info was listed. You would think Sony would at least have the album pic on there along with the

release date. :cry:
