She did buy her Jupiter Island home (The majestic Mediterranean-styled mansion) for $4-5 million but loaded it so much, when she sold it, it went for $9 million. Then, in 2005, she and Rene bought ANOTHER house in Jupiter Island for $12.5, and this time it's oceanfront! In 2003, Celine and Rene bought land in one of Jack Nicholas's Golf Communities for $3.5 million (I wonder what they'll be building there). But here's Celine and Rene's extravaganza! LOLThey bought the a castle on the Island Ile Gagnon for $7.8 million dollars. They wanted to rennovate the mansion, but ended up tearing the WHOLE original house down, and plopped a solid new castle on top of the land. They spent a rumored $20 million for the construction of the new house. They EVEN wanted to buy out the surrounding houses (like I said previously) to start a Dion Village! I remember seeing her LV house on the Oprah Winfrey show back in 2003 when she just began contract. For some reason, in my mind, I thought it was a relatively small (for her) house that looked very modern and looked as if it was against one of the mountains. When I saw the photos here it doesn't match what I thought I saw on that show. Maybe what I saw at that time was just a small part of the whole house. They did show some of the inside of her hous on that show. I remember that she had large flat panel monitors in every room so she could monitor RC all the time. When I was in LV in June I also drove through the Lake Las Vegas area where she lives (no I'm NOT a stalker!!!). It's actually on the way to the Lake Mead and Hoover Dam area. It's obviously a nice area with many golf courses and protective gates. It looks like they are still adding homes in that area. Quote

I think it was the most beautiful of all of Celine's homes. The decor, the style, the layout...everything was just perfect. I'm pretty sure they got a lump sum of dough for it. It was sold fully furnished. Imagine sleeping in the same bed and on the same linens as Celine once did. Quote

It's sad seeing Celine's castle in Gagnon away from everyone and everything, man, the house is nice but she is secluded, the must have it all inside those houses to not feel trapped within 4 walls. Every trip to Disney or even to the mall is stressful for them, they have to dress up and be careful in every step they walk, bodyguards all around, it's easier to have a carousel in the backyard than a trip to Disney i guess. Fame is not as shiny and glamorous as we think it is...
