Ya, rumour has it Vodafone is trying to bring Celine to Romania. They brought Rolling Stones to Bucharest this summer. However, I don't think it will happen. The tour is only for one year, and she does want to show RC the best parts of the world. Bucharest is really not one of them. I don't feel sad actually. I don't think I'm ready to have her here, I don't think Romania is ready for Celine. George Michael and Rolling Stones were here this year and they didn't sell out. And Rolling Stones sell out everywhere... I really don't want to see half a stadium empty if Celine would come. And she can only sing on a stadium, we don't have a proper concert hall. So, no. I'd rather go myself to a beautiful city, which will seem even more beautiful to me because Celine would be there, and see the concert and visit it. October 15 cannot come soon enough....

I'm not surprised that Brazil (and South America or Latin America as you wish) is not on the list. The truth is we can't pay to bring her here - the tickets would be very over expensive, like it happens when big artists come - at least to Brazil. I remember a long time ago when Pavarotti came to Brazil the tickets - the cheapest one were about 300-350 US dolar or 600 reais (Brazilian money) and it's a lot of money for a ticket.

Of course I really wished from the bottom of my heart that she would come.. because I know how hard it is for many Brazilians to go abroad etc. Unfortunately, Celine won't come.

It was such a success that they are going to Brazil again and will stay there for 4 or 5 months.

 

And may I say, I believe the tickets for Céline concerts in Portugal, Spain or Italy won't cost half the tickets for Paris... at least if she wants to have sold out stadiums. Rolling Stones were at the Alvalade Stadium and the most expensive tickets were about 75 euros.

They can't be. A normal person won't pay more that 75-100 euros in Portugal to see an artist, even Céline. Maybe a fan will do anything to pay 150-200... and then don't eat for a month. So, I hope that Céline's staff have that in consideration.

Wow, i'm so happy to see this list - I thought i'd have to travel over to London to see Celine, but I see that us Irish will get the chance to see her at Croke Park, which will be an absolutely fabulous concert!

 

It's also late enough to hopefully be after my exams will end, so that's another huge bonus! This thread has made me so happy this evening!!

I am pretty sure one of those 5 remaining countries is the United States.

I am making a guess that 30 concerts of that remaining 38 will be on US soil.

You forgot Canada which would have at least 10 dates.
