about Diana Ross - she never had a powerful voice but i really liked her style and voice , this days with all the drugs and alcohol ofcours she cant sing anymooooooore .

 

about josh groban - his version of "you raise me up" is one of the strongest , most amazing ballads of recent years . sometimes i wish celine could cover this song but on the other hand josh is singing it so perfectly and it fits his voice in a way that i think even celine wont be able to top .

yeahh i'm happy to hear he is taking care of his voice and i hope they wont make him do this kind of thing again .

i mean look at christina - she is sooooooo young and u can already tell that from all her screaming and day after day performances - her voice just cant take it . i heard her trying to nail "beautiful" again , it used to be so easy for her and now she can barely hit a note right and she is only 23 or so...

no , i think that for the long term that's not what damaged celine's voice cause she always knew how to take care of it and how to use her gift right . celine just got old like all of us will someday+she is not taking care of her voice like she used to - the not talking days r over , she IS eating dairy products and overall she just doesnt care that much anymore . celine's voice when she was 35 sounded much less damaged than christina's voice and she can almost be her daughter!!

not all the people r as discipline as celine , actually i dont know 1 artist as discipline as celine used to be .

Diana Ross is an amazing woman, regardless. Her musical career is approaching its 5th decade soon. She has achieved multiple accolades, awards, etc. Even if she's made some mistakes, she's human. And regardless, she is a LEGEND.

OMG! "my heart will go on" cover ??!! who could get used to someone else then Celine sing that song?? they made a very bad choice...but you all know this too bad we can't make them change their minds...i hope i will never hear it

Perfect Song Choices!!!

I think some people here need to give them a chance. You haven't even heard of the recording yet, and yet you already casted your judgement and calling them a "crappy boyband." They have done some awesome job with covers. Some of their original songs have become classics. Shane Filan has an amazing voice. Westlife actually CAN SING. They really know how to put on a show. ETC. ETC. ETC. Look at the thread of Clay recording "Because You Loved Me" - I wonder how many puke emoticons were in there LOL. And once his recording was revealed, there were ooohs and aaaah's everywhere.
