I only have the song for the movie "Stuck On You" and it's called "Human". A beautiful song, by the way.

OMG I love this song but I have never been able to find it anywhere! DO you have it?

And I love Cher. She was the first concert I ever saw when I was nine. When my aunt got the tickets for it i was the happiest girl ever.

I just read her voice is taking its toll because of the dry air.... and now she's refraining from talking in the afternoons..

Why do they remove the humidify system? I'm sure Celine would asked them reinstall it before she come back.

I thought I had heard Bette say in an interview that when they redesigned the stage they took out some of the the humdity sytem. To me that would mean that there's still some but there's not as much as there was for A New Day. Either way it's a mistake to have taken some out.

Ok... just back from Vegas... saw Cher while I was there. More on that in a bit...

First off, it was disgusting being in Vegas for any reason other than to see Celine. LOL It just felt weird, considering the only reason that I have ever been to Vegas was to see Celine's show.

The Colosseum has changed a bit.... It was FREEZING inside. There are HUGE air-conditioning vents EVERYWHERE in the ceiling. I dressed light for the "show", assuming it would be warm in there like it always was with Celine... not the case. It was frigid. LOL

The ushers and employees of the colosseum and gift shop all seem to be way more rude and un-friendly. Maybe I am just thinking this, but who knows... they didn't seem as friendly as the many other times they were when I went to see Celine.

The stage looks like crap... really dirty and scuffed up from the dancers, but the lighting for the show isn't that great, so you can always see most of the stage. There's also three emblems on the stage that really detract from what you're looking at. Not to mention the different setup of the stage is just plain weird... Not like AND, where all the seats had a great view, but rather, you really do need to be sitting in the main orchestra level and in the middle to get the best show.

Cher's entrance was pretty cool... she comes in from "the sky"... there's a little door halfway up one of the walls where her little platform is anchored, and covered in a drape... then she gets in right before the show and it's uncovered, lit up and she starts singing [which is the same type of opening and the same opening song from her "farewell tour", I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, a U2 song].

The entire show didn't feel like a show at all... it was basically a watered down version of her last tour, with different outfits, and lots of cover songs... she only sang a few of her own. There were way too many long breaks between songs, since she had to go change. There were no "quick changes"; they all took at least 4 minutes, if not more sometimes, only for her to come out, and sing a 3 or 4 minute song, then disappear again. With all the costume changes, she really doesn't spend that much time on stage, and rather, it seems like about 10 or so different songs, all that had little or nothing to do with the dancing or videos that had previously filled the time when she was changing. It felt very "thrown together" with little cohesion.

She seemed to be singing live, or at least miming to previously recorded live tracks... the opening number sounded different than the rest, which kinda makes me think it was mimed... but hey, she was on a 3 square foot platform floating over a few thousand people. LOL Most everything else seemed live, and she even messed up a few times, so it was obvious she was singing live a lot.

Her dancers were kinda crappy. They seemed lazy. My boyfriend even pointed out a male dancer with a larger than acceptable belly on a dancer... really pudgy looking. LOL We both took binoculars since we were up high... we didn't miss a beat, and were able to see everything up close, and far away. ha ha

During the last song before her encore, which is "If I Could Turn Back Time", she came out all jazzed up in her new outfit... folks in the front rows were throwing sailor caps up on stage... one fella threw his straw cowboy hat up on stage and Cher didn't see it, and tripped over it hardcore, and fell down on her hands and knees... If she was lip-synching her sound tech did a great job of turning her vocals off... then she got back up, looked at the audience, then finished the last few lines of the song and left off stage, and was very upset. She bowed a few times before leaving, put her mic on the mic stand which was with her band, then left. Then it got super quiet... the curtain came down, and they just flashed pictures of her up... people were cheering for the encore, but nothing happened... then the band just started playing some random, non-Cher music for a few minutes, but still no sign of Cher. The music stopped, and we kept cheering, then finally she came back out and sang "Believe"... she was so over it... it was cool that she made her entrance from up above for the last number, but she didn't interact with us, just sang, bowed and walked off stage.

My bf googled her show a little, and it's all over her forums that she fell... AGAIN. Poor Cher... but apparently she's fallen a few times since she started in Vegas again. :( It seems one time she nearly fell completely off the stage during her second song. Yikes...

The people who sat in front of me were pissed... said it was about 90 minutes too long [which is the length of the show, lol] and stormed out... lots of fellas were out near the gift shop bad-mouthing the she, talking about her falling so much, etc etc etc... ah well... It was cool to at least be able to say that I saw Cher in concert, but it would be cool to hear later on that they re-designed her concert and made it into a better show, especially since she's going to be there for so long. Apparently she just returned a week or so ago from a leave from the show... she cancelled her end of 2008 shows because she was sick, claiming the famous "las vegas throat" that we've all learned so much about... which begs the question "why take out most, if not all the humidifier system and replace it with cold, conditioned air?!" not so wise a move now, huh gals?! LOL

All in all, just kinda weird, all thrown together, not really a show, but more of a concert, and not too impressive, considering the ticket prices for the main orchestra level. I kinda would have preferred to see Bette or Elton...

Aaah that sucks, reading this! what worries me, is the fact that this show has been running since may 2008, so they should have already altered the show a long time ago!!! I read when the show first started, that is was simular to the Farewell tour. It's a shame she doesn't sing much of her own songs, considering the fact that she did have many hits!! I also feel sorry for her, that she fell so many times! People shouldn't throw stuff on stage all the time... and about the dancers, that's just an unacceptable thing!! they are the ones who show 'live' up the show!!

if this is céline future; an AND copy, but then even worse, then I think she should really think twice about going back there!! :ermm:

I've never seen Cher on tour, so I couldn't tell what was from a previous tour or not :P Ugh why would you throw anything up on the stage? Of course anyone is going to fall if they aren't looking for stupid people to do stuff like that.

Well first off, this isn't a show, more like a concert... think back to all the people throwing little fuzzy frogs up to Celine while she was on tour...

Secondly, the music video for Id I Could Turn Back Time takes place on a boat full of sailors, and subsequently, fans have been throwing sailor hats up to Cher, sometimes with little messages written on them, etc.

So basically, it isn't stupid that people are doing it; it's something that Cher herself perpetuates by wearing these fan-thrown hats during the song.

Cher in October :w00t: :w00t:

yeah man :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

well, its November now ... but yeah we are going

btw it seems Cher will be saying goodbye this year on December 20th 2009 ... she is not interested in doing shows next year and may want to conclude her numbers of performances this year. This has not been confirmed at all either by Cher or Ceasar's ... so we are not sure!

On PerezHilton blog, he said that Cher was leaving one day, then the next day he said Cher was not leaving ... so who knows!

From Robin Leach's Blog, interview (excerpt) with Elton John talking about Cher's last dates at Caesars:

Sir Elton will be missed, but how long we'll miss him is in question. He told his audience last night:

"It's been a very good run. I've enjoyed every night I've been here in Vegas and at Caesars. Even though Cher will now be leaving at the end of this year, something tells me that you'll be seeing both Celine Dion and me back here once again."

Stay Tuned....

As quoted by Robin Leach:

*Superstar singer Cher turns back time to resume her run of shows at Caesars Palace through May 24. She's completed 60 shows to date for her 200-show contract over three years. She'll perform 33 shows in the final 2009 performances starting Sept. 19 and running through Dec. 20, and then return in 2010 for the balance. Yes, for once and for all, she will be with us next year, and the remaining shows this year aren't the last ones -- just the final set for 2009! Let's hope that now clears up all the confusion from the box office release announcing ticket sales for the fall shows!

maybe Ceasars are spreading the rumour themselves, so that ticket sales will encrease :P

Jack: And another thing. I love Cher. And I always will. There isn't a man in this room who doesn't owe his life to her. Who else was there to teach us to lip-synch, roll our tongue, and verbally abuse short people?

I wonder if Cher could turn back time (literly!) , would she have had all the plastic surgery or would she have chosen a diff surgeon.? I love Cher so im not being sarcastic here , come to think of it , maybe her whole plastic surgery -ness adds to the whole Cher ness?! hmmm. I should go search for cher interviews sometimes, i just dont know how she feels a bout all the surgery she has had, wondering is she happy with it....or maybe she does not give a flying **** Edited by takeachance

I just saw Chers last show before her break and let me say she is AMAZING! My best friend wasnt even a Cher fan and now he is.

The turn back time outfit that is used at Ceasars is the same as this one:

For these performaces she brings back a lot of costumes she used to wear in past tours. The TBT was from the Farewell tour (the same one on her barbie too) ha.

Amazing show again though! :D Going back in December!!
