my friend came back from the states and bought me a Cher keychain from Las Vegas! He said the show was pretty awesome! A lot of 'sonny' songs... and she talked a lot too! He said it wasn't the same as the farewell tour

This is the best news ever!!!

 

The legend that is Cher has revealed that when her contract ends at Caesars Palace's The Colosseum in Las Vegas, she's going to go on tour again!!!

 

Screw that farewell tour!

 

The singer, actress, and all around superstar amazingness is looking fierce at the ripe young age of 63!!

 

 

There's also a new album coming out!! FINALLY!!! the first single is Already Been There and will be performed at the World Music Awards

 

The movie Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough is set for November.

I bought the USA edition of It's a Man's World, cos there are 5 songs with different arragements than featured on the album in the rest of the world

 

but damn!! these arrangements are bad!!! they tried to make her fit into the 90ies R'n B with cheap syntersizers and 'black' backing vocals... I think that if she just used the normal tracks, the album would have had much more succes!

 

the way the tracklist is made is bad too!! the r'n b songs are the first 5, the rest is the normal pop/rock sound!

Don't count on it; i read on the Cher boards that she has a show the same night as the World Music Awards so it wouldn't be possible to have her be there and do her regular show.. :/

 

PS: Funny, i decided to check and the world music awards were apparently last night on the 18th and Cher wasn't there since i know some people who went to the show she was doing in Vegas..

i know that like few months ago on Caesars palace twitter or something they have post like there's no plan to film Cher's show at the colosseum...

they should though... and for Bette too they didn't even film it... what a pity

Or Cher herself so disliked the show, that she didn't bother! LOL
