Bellamy Posted September 15, 2006 at 04:16 AM Posted September 15, 2006 at 04:16 AM It's not her latest album. Her latest album is "One Wish. It's horrible. BTW, I think Whitney shouldn't try "you light up my life" when her vocal is not on top at all. The latest song I like from her is " I learn from the best". LOL I'm glad she is better now, but her voice is wrecked and everybody knows that sauf her delusioned blind fans who still lurk around on her forum and hope for one picture pro year so they can get their orgasm and then go on. Her new album may be surely fine but only with computrer help. Computer helped Mariah and I wonder what it will do to Whitney. May be interesting. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
Tal Posted September 15, 2006 at 07:02 PM Posted September 15, 2006 at 07:02 PM lmao @ clives quote about whitney not trying to follow trends. thats quite a dig at mariah im afraid of a comeback because she's probably destroyed her throat and vocal chords with all the drugs she did. they'll probably just help her in the studio and then she'll lip or just suck really bad live and i dont want to see that. May be interesting. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>The computer helped Mariah, but not enough to give her justice as compared to the Old Mariah. "We Belong Together" is a good example. After the bridge, she did squeeks, whistles, and breaks in her voice, almost sounds like one of those cars that are about to break down. As for Whitney, I think they will definitely use software to extend and smooth out her railroad track vibratos and I'm not surprised if they change her pitch to make her sound like she's singing higher. And yes, the last two tracks - "Who Would Imagine a King" and "Joy to the World" are from "The Preacher's Wife" soundtrack released towards the end of 1996. Quote
samart Posted September 18, 2006 at 05:58 AM Posted September 18, 2006 at 05:58 AM I love Whitney! Maybe she will sing jazz or gospel songs, like "I go to the rock", "Joy"?Don't you know?I want to hear something special from Whitney!Maybe "second "I will always love you"??? Quote

thevoice Posted September 18, 2006 at 06:44 PM Posted September 18, 2006 at 06:44 PM whitney might come back to the charts , she might even have a no 1 album again , she might even stop smoking BUT - she'll never be able to sing again just too much damage to her vocal chords from years and years of drugs , alcohol and what not??vocaly , she is the saddest story in music history - she had such a gift and she just murdered it . Love, Posted October 29, 2006 at 02:52 PM Posted October 29, 2006 at 02:52 PM (edited) Denzel On Whitney: 'I'm Praying For Her' LOS ANGELES (October 28, 2006) -- In his new film, "Déjà vu," Denzel Washington plays an ATF agent who uses flashes of déjà vu to guide himself through an investigation into a shattering crime in New Orleans. But when Denzel sat down with Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson to talk about his new film, he also opened up about his dear friend and former co-star Whitney Houston."I'm covering the Carousel of Hope ball tonight and Clive Davis is coming and bringing Whitney Houston as his date," Shaun told Denzel."That's my girl," Washington smiled. Denzel beamed when he talked about Whitney's possible comeback. The two starred together in the 1996 romantic drama "The Preacher's Wife." "I've talked with Whitney a few times since I was in New Orleans. She's made a decision to turn her life around and I'm just praying for her. She's been clean and clear for months now and I just know she's going to explode," Denzel said. "People love her. She's one of the greatest voices of her generation and she's had a rough life. She's on the right path and I just pray she continues on that path." Whitney separated from long-time husband Bobby Brown in September. She officially filed for a "dissolution of marriage" on October 16. "I've seen her recently and she looks great," Shaun noted. "Rosy little cheeks and stuff," Denzel said. "That brings such a smile to your face," Shaun said. "You must have been heartbroken when she was going through her troubles." "Well, we all go through some things in life. As they say, ‘There's no testimony without a test.' So she has one and I as I said, I pray and I believe she's going to come through. Clive knows it. He's no dummy. He's right there and probably in the studio making great music." "Maybe we'll do some duets and ruin her career," Denzel laughed. "Déjà vu," starring Denzel Washington and Jim Caviezel hits theaters November 22. Copyright 2006 by NBC. All rights reserved.GOODBYE Bobby Brown! I'm gonna give my girl Celine, a run for her money! I've found an even older man! She looks healthier though BTW, the Carousel of Hope Ball is held every two years. One table starts at $10000 and runs to $100,000 (I think each table seats 10), and it's by invitation only. Celine performed at this Ball in 1998.
