Me, too! Then in 1993 - I saw the Colour of My Love Concert and was TOTALLY hooked! That is when I began collecting her music!

Ive been a fan of Celine's since way back in 1988 when I graduated High School and started my first Job. Heard her sing " If you asked me" and I was hooked and have been a Celine fan every since. Ive seen her twice in Concert and have a huge collection of memoribilla also including posters, cds, videos, pins, magnets, watches, casino chips, books, a jacket, tshirts and much more.

 

My newest addition to my collection is her book " For Keeps"

I first heard B&B in 1993, then TPOL. But I didn't pay much attention to her. I fall in love with Celine by the Olympics Game 1996 opening ceremony. And then I bought FIY, D'eux albums. Then I'm a Celine fan forever.

I remember watching a special in 1993 on VH1. Céline was being interviewed before a concert and needed René to translate quite often! I didn't give the special much thought except I didn't forget the person commenting how thin she was-Céline was wearing the tight black leather outfit

I still remember the first time I listen to Celine Dion was when I bought Falling Into You album for my mom in 1996 as a Mother's Day gift . When I heard Because You Love I was immediately in love with her songs and I'm a fan ever since .

Many of you are beating me, I've only been a fan for ~9 years. My obsession began after MHWGO before that, I started liking her when I heard BYLM, TPOL, IACBTMN. Those songs sounded very familiar on the radio, it was During high school, I borrowed the FIY album from someone..listened to it and loved it. This album will always remain my favorite of all time.

 

So, after the Titanic phenomena, I started buying the rest of her English and eventually some of her most popular French albums - Deux and SSD. I'm proud to remain a fan, can't believe it's almost 10 years

I respect everyone even they are newbies and know little about Celine. And I don't quite like the way some older fans think they're better fans than the others. I think everyone is equal. And I was a newbie ten years ago, too.

Ofcourse the older fans aren't better fans..sometimes they seem to think that they are..but we all know that's not true. But I respect their constant enthusiasm for Celine through the years. It's not about the knowledge, (some newbies might know more about Celine than older fans) but the fact that they have been following Celine's career closely for so many years...and I think that's great. I wish I was with Celine when she was starting her international career

I should also point out that I have had Céline since I was in the belly. My mother has been a crazed, and I mean, CRAZED Céline fan since 'Ne partez pas sans moi' also, I think I have been a Céline fan for about 10-11 years.

I fell in LOVE with her on 7/31/1999 when I bought Titanic and Back To Titanic. I quickly turned on "My Heart Will Go On" and fell in LOVE with the song right away. I have been a fan for 6 almost 7 wonderful years. I will LOVE her for always.
