I was 12 years old and my first real album that I ever bought was "Falling into you"..Now, it's very common that people grow out of their passion for an artist, especially when they get involved in serious relationships, jobs etc.. Or that the artist changes and is not the same anymore.. But somehow I managed to be a fan for 10 years now, and I'm really proud of it. I think I even wrote down the date I bought my first cd.. That way I can eat a mini-cake and celebrate Ok.. enough of me and my 30 sec of fame. I've seen (on the internet) that older fans are disappearing and they're being replaced by new ones (nothing wrong with that ). I'd like to know for how long you've all been fans? Looking at your age it seems as if most of you are fans from 1999-2002?? Quote

That was till the date BYLM hit the top spot in the US Billboard Top 200 chart. First I was mad at Celine and insulted her but than I heared the song and was enchanted. I'm proud to say that I'm still a fan over all these years and nothing ever can change my mind. Of course there are better and worser times but every artist has those times! I was previliged to see her three times in Vegas, two times in Paris and in other places. All these moments just made me more addicted to her! The song "Ne partez pas sans moi" I found absolutly horrible. But the voice! After some years I heard/saw on MTV her song/video "Where does my heart beat now". And I was fallen in love with her voice once again. But the first really, really good song for me was "think twice". I remember I had the LTAL album but I had never listened to the song because it wasn't ever played on radio and I never got to number 16 on the album- then one day I discovered the song and that was the day my obsession began- now with something like 20 albums and hours of downloaded concerts and bootlegs and mp3s and tv appearances- I think we are all fans in the true sense of the word fanatic.And now we're on this bloody forum every bloody day in case anything new is happenin. I will be celebrating 6 years in a while. I didn't become a fan untill 2000 but I have always loved her music since Beauty and the Beast, Falling Into You, My Heart Will Go On, and That's the way it is. I just never made the connection that all of those songs and cd's where all hers. I was a fan of Beauty and the Beast and watched it all of the time. The funny thing is that I never liked Celine's version then I liked the old lady singing it. in 93 my sister got The Colour of my Love and I liked listening to it. Then in 96 she got Falling Into You and we would sing along to the songs all of the time. Then Titanic was amazing but i sort of got tired of the song because it was on all of the time. Then at the end of 99 my sister again got All the Way and I borrowed it. Some time I did finally give it back and on a trip to Illinois in the summer of 00 I could not stop listening to Let's Talk About Love which was actually mine and I didn't stop from there in less then a year I had all of the english cd's.
