It’s super weird that not only Céline, but also Karine Hannah and Rob Evan (from music group The Dream Engine) also recorded the song and both their versions remain officially unreleased.

So, the first one to record this was Céline Dion but due to business and publishing disputes rather than artistic concerns, it wasn't released officially. The next one who recorded this song is Meatloaf, reminds me of wanting to record "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", but Jim Steinman said it was a woman's song. But eventually around early 00's he recorded it. This is the only version of this song that was officially released. I wonder if it can be released officially, the version of Celine in future album release.

Yes, I don't like it either. I love Celine, but her "screaming" in that song is horrible. It doesn't fit on LTAL anyway.

This part of the text is interesting to me. Think about this, the writers of the three first tracks of Falling Into You, were not deemed to be the best out of 14-15 songs for Let's Talk About Love. That's pretty much insanity. Jim Steinman and Diane Warren wrote two of the biggest hits of Falling Into You, and Billy Steinberg wrote Falling Into You, which they used as the album title. 

I presume the Jim Steinman song that was considered for Let's Talk About Love was Is Nothing Sacred? That seems obvious, but do we know which songs was submitted by Diane Warren and Billy Steinberg?

Jim is indeed "Is nothing sacred"... 

Diane I believe is "Would I Know"...

I think the unreleased "Run like a river" and "Love is alive" were recorded during LTAL sessions too...

Reading this text, I'm inclined to believe it's true... but I don't think Celine was aware of the situation... I believe it was totally a René decision... more than once Celine told in interviews she just arrived to the studio for recording the songs, and René took care of all the business...

It’s called Belting. And I think it belongs to Falling Into You as the texture of her belts fits that album

If there were a lot of unreleased songs recorded during FIY & LTAL and for sure there’s a lot of belting and high notes she did those time. Still surprised that she can still do long tours. Wish they will release that in the future, it’s a waste of not releasing it as Celine work hard for those.

Sorry, but there is a different between belting and screaming and in INSA she is screaming.

I believe LAL and RLAR were recorded in the ATW sessions.

in Billboard Magazine in 1999, Sony told that at the begining of the process, ATW was supposed to have 3 original songs, then 5, and then 7 because they received too many good songs. It is also said that 9 original songs were recorded : I guess it's the 7 we know + Would I Know + Love is Alive. Did we ever get confirmation that Run Like River actually existed ?

LTAL already had a movie song. Do you remember MHWGO/TITANIC and IDWTMAT fits Aerosmith better. I'm glad that INSA isn't on LTAL.

Let's talk about love definitely needed Is nothing sacred anymore. The two biggest hits from this album aren't even from the album because ones from Titanic and the others from 1995.

with the great 10/10 INSA and its incredible BELTING it would have made LTAL almost as goood as FIY

Yes I remember MHWGO being the theme song from Titanic. Thank you.

Regarding IDWTMAT I agree to say Aerosmith made an amazing version of it. From a quality point of view and without taking into account the fact that the song was used for another succesful movie, I think it might have been a nice addition on Céline’s own album.

I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing was submitted to Céline in 1998. Céline didn’t want to do another movie theme and she didn’t have any album coming out except These Are Special Times. Céline and René thought that it was not a song that could be included in a holiday album.

I think it was in the MTV Diary from 1999/2000, where she said that she doesn't want to record another big blockbuster movie song ("another Titanic song"). That's why she didn't record  There You'll Be.

I was under the impression that she received “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” at the same time as “The Reason”… 

Celine was offered that and Aerosmith was offered “The Reason” and they swapped. If that’s the case it could’ve ended up on the LTAL album.

D. Warren said that she had the idea for the lyrics for IDWTMAT during the Walters/Streisand interview in Mid November 1997  and LTAL was released in Mid November 1997.

I’m not sure, I could be wrong but Carole King did say that “The Reason” was intended for  Aerosmith and they turned it down and it ended up with Celine.

IDWTMAT was intended for Celine first and ended up with Aerosmith… that’s definitely a fact… but maybe they never swapped, maybe Celine could’ve done both and was intended to do both songs and it just worked out that way. 

Another fun fact is that “Love Is All We Need” from one heart album was actually intended for Britney Spears but ended up with Celine. 
 

I truly think the one that truly got away from Celine was “There You’ll Be” from pearl habor… that to me was the biggest miss… Faith Hill ended up with the song but Celine would’ve took that song beyond had it been  recorded by her and produced by David Foster..: I think it could’ve been her biggest English song after MHWGO.
