thevoice Posted January 4, 2006 at 06:45 PM Posted January 4, 2006 at 06:45 PM it was supposed to be on the LTAL album but they cut it cause they had too many powerful ballads . Quote
zeesh100 Posted January 4, 2006 at 07:07 PM Posted January 4, 2006 at 07:07 PM Yes it was supposed to be on LTAL, but i thought it was cut because rene wanted all the rights to the song or something like that. So many great songs and opportunities would have passed by celine because of this type of business strategy. Quote
OnlyCeline Posted January 5, 2006 at 12:28 AM Posted January 5, 2006 at 12:28 AM How About in TAST??? as a bonus Song? Quote http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/9860/ggxz9.jpg
fred Posted January 5, 2006 at 12:45 AM Posted January 5, 2006 at 12:45 AM It was supposed to be on Let's Talk About Love but cut because it needed an uptempo song and was replaced by Just A Little Bit Of Love... or so I've read... Why, I don't understand. Because Let's Talk About Love is supposed to be her main fine and classic ballad love album... and it's uptempo Treat Her Like A Lady and Just A Little Bit Of Love feels misplaced and I often skip those tracks... And it's odd that a song such as Is Nothing Sacred was excluded and a song such as I Hate You Then I Love You got to be on... well I guess it's because of that it was a duet with such a high status artist. But in my opinion this song would actually be quite good if it was only Céline singing... /fred Quote Peace and love to all.

And that the song wasn't included not because of any artistic concerns, but because of business disagreements with Jim Steinman. / Ethan Edited January 5, 2006 at 01:22 AM by Ethan Quote http://www.myfilehut.com/userfiles/20444/signature.jpgThe true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible. - Oscar WildeThanks to ByuSmurf for the image

ByuSmurf Posted March 17, 2006 at 03:42 AM Posted March 17, 2006 at 03:42 AM On the fake "Songs of Jim Steinman" CD there are 2 versions of Is Nothing Sacred - what is the difference between the two? Anyone have it?The version in the multimedia section is 6:11 - and sounds like a demo cut - all-be-it - FANTASTIC!!! Is there a completed version lurking around? Thanks in advance to whomever responds! Quote http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/byusmurf/siggy12-25-05.jpg

PopMusicBoy Posted March 30, 2006 at 06:22 AM Posted March 30, 2006 at 06:22 AM I had heard that one problem was that Jim Steinman had a fallout with Tommy Mattola after Mottola refused to submit It's All Coming Back To Me Now to be a contender for the 1997 Grammies in favor of Because You Loved Me. ANewDay... Posted July 9, 2006 at 04:43 PM Posted July 9, 2006 at 04:43 PM i'd say, technically, LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE... yet i suspect that the original plan may have been FALLING INTO YOU (i think CELINE only worked once with JIM STEINMAN, and on those two songs)... IS NOTHING SACRED is a great ballad, which would have been perfect on FALLING INTO YOU as a bonus track (or one of those hidden tracks) (or ideally it would have been included on ALL singles of IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW, as a gift for fans and to support the sales of SINGLES) for the simple reason, well, to me, using not one but two songs by a legendary JIM STEINMAN on one album would be considered EXCESSIVE, OVER THE TOP, maybe even to RENÉ! anyway, that was my opinion... - ANewDay...
