firebird Posted November 5, 2006 at 04:03 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 04:03 PM He has not stolen Is Nothing Sacred. Jim Steinman gave it to him, because Celine didn't want to release it on LTAL Quote
lauracd Posted November 5, 2006 at 04:25 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 04:25 PM Why she didn't want to release it? I like this song very much! Quote
whosarahre Posted November 5, 2006 at 06:12 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 06:12 PM i do love this song but i dont think it would fit together on the LTAl album. it would hav been better on FYI or ATW Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/whosarahre/photo68.jpgI'm gonna love you forever always together, you'll never be far away from my heart
liv Posted November 5, 2006 at 06:42 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 06:42 PM I tkink that the version of meatloaf is beautiful!!!!!!! Quote Celine, SEI NELL`ANIMA, E LI TI LASCIO PER SEMPRE....My love, can you give me strength Somehow I forgot how to ease my pain I know I'm right where I belong Something from nothing never proved me wrong But I stand tall to get by No matter how hard I try to hide Did you know I take the time for you Did you know that I would see you through Did you know that I would play the part I must've made it clear right from the start I would shade my whole life with you Would you do the same for me I would give all I am to you Would you do the same for me
Yentl Anchel Posted November 5, 2006 at 08:02 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 08:02 PM There are a lot of songs Celine did record but didn't made it to the album. don't get me wrong here I do love Is Nothing Sacret but it just didn't fit any of the albums Celine did released the past few years. I am sure there are recordings from 1F4T and One Heart as well not used for the album. and sometimes it is good we don't know about those songs. IACBTMN is also written by Jim Steinman and now Meatloaf recorded it as well. but did you know Céline recorded a song that was meant to be Tony Bracston's and Tony Bracston did recored a song that was written for Céline, and they both had a billboard hit with it. I don't care about WHAT songs Celine sings as long as they fit her and the album it is okay with me. You are not going to place a ballad song on a rock album and not a rocky song on a miracle alike album. Quote Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoileWill be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016
celinesounds Posted November 5, 2006 at 09:16 PM Posted November 5, 2006 at 09:16 PM I prefer Celine's version i love her vocals and i agree this song doesn't fit well in LTAL Quote #FREEJAVITO
seita Posted November 7, 2006 at 02:03 PM Posted November 7, 2006 at 02:03 PM have you heard this song before??? yes... this song so powerfull and make me peacefull..celine did it again...with her soul and angel voice.. ohmy god..... celine makes this song so beautifull.... but what do you think if in the next celine album, celine take a part this song. and could you imagine?? if celine singing this song live???? so pretty i think.... Bullet Posted November 7, 2006 at 02:43 PM Posted November 7, 2006 at 02:43 PM I think it's a pretty boring song... Glad it wasn't included on Celine's album. I think Meat Loaf has a thing for Celine, don't you think? Quote

bfhb Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:06 PM Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:06 PM it is such a good song and its a great performance by celine...i love it when we the fans get to hear these gems.....basically we hang on every note released or not !!.....but it is so frustrating that one of her biggest hits all coming back to me....is not capitalised on, the public love that song ...they would love another similar style....its time for a mega ballad....sure fire hit poor decisoion not to include it even as adouble a single ......but then any single at this stage would be welcomed...as long as we get decent video/airplay promotion Quote love doesn't ask whyspeaks from the heart and never explainsdont you know that love doesn't think twiceit can come all at once or whisper from a distance
WaterFromTheMoon Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:18 PM Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:18 PM Oh I love this song so much - when I first heard it I was like "damn - why didnt make it on an album?!?" although I know the reasons, its too bad.... Quote
CDI Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:28 PM Posted March 1, 2008 at 09:28 PM If you listen I think this is the track in its early days, kinda like a demo version... its definitly not finished, the same with "Would I Know", its not finished either... You'll find that many artists will record the song and then the producer will play about afterwards... kinda like "Be The Man" the promo CD Celine sings it slightly different in parts... thats because the promo CD was the first release of the track and by the time the album came out the finished version was done and added to the album!... Frozen_Phoenix Posted March 2, 2008 at 02:13 AM Posted March 2, 2008 at 02:13 AM I simply love this song. I would love to have it released in some kind of songbook in order to play it on the piano. My favourite part is the screaming part in the end of the song. It's only one or two lines long but it is so powerful and strong Quote Et la vie glisse sur l'eau du tempsLa vie resiste, prend son elanPour un baiser elle peut se poserLe temps qui compte est toujours compte http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f248/ARMOIT/celinechances-1.png

Lymon Posted May 31, 2008 at 05:18 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 05:18 PM Amazing song. Her vocals are so powerful in this. She gets critisized for "screaming" a lot of her songs, but the screaming in the song worked, especially towards the end. Really amazing song, it should've defanitly been on Let's Talk About Love. tal-sh2 Posted May 31, 2008 at 05:39 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 05:39 PM Such a strong and powerfull song.Of course it really should got on LTAL. Quote "These walls keep a secret, That only we know..."http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u287/bambaplanet/G49272_b.jpgSorry for my English.
sayyed Posted May 31, 2008 at 07:57 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 07:57 PM I'm so glad it didn't make the final cut! Its one of the wort songs she's ever recorded, the screaming hurts my ears. Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes

So I think too!. I don't like this song. Just because its been written by the same authot as IACBTMN doesn't mean that its a good song Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
CelineFanInSoCal Posted June 1, 2008 at 05:52 AM Posted June 1, 2008 at 05:52 AM ...meh... it's an ok tune. The version that's in our Multimedia Section could use some work. Fine tune her vocals a tad and adjust the arrangements or orchestrations, and it would have been a good album track. I am not normally a fan, however, of pop songs with real-life people, places or things references, or religious other type references simply because they most of the time either seem out of place or almost tacky, and almost always have a way of dating the lyrics or pigeon-holing the writer as "something". In other genres, yes, most definitely, but in pop music, no thanks. But back to the track I just listened to, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't awful, though some re-working would have made it awesome. Quote

In Miles To Go it's not that bad... but definitely a line of the song that sticks out to me when I listen to the song. Quote
A New Day Has Come Posted June 3, 2008 at 03:20 AM Posted June 3, 2008 at 03:20 AM I love this song so much its so powerfull and it gives me chills all the time when I hear or go to youtube and watch listen to it. Quote
marie_claire Posted June 27, 2008 at 10:34 AM Posted June 27, 2008 at 10:34 AM yeah i love this song too... celine's powerful voice blends completely with the orchestraic mode of the song by J. Steinman Quote
SensationalCeline Posted June 28, 2008 at 12:22 AM Posted June 28, 2008 at 12:22 AM This is one of my favorite unreleased songs. I wish that she would release a cd or cd's (however many it takes) of all of her unreleased tracks and remixes. That would be really awesome. Maybe they'll do soemthing like that after the tour. Is Nothing Sacred should have been put on the cd, it's an amazing ballad and it really surprised me to find out that it was cut. Polar Star Posted June 28, 2008 at 03:08 AM Posted June 28, 2008 at 03:08 AM Celine should sing more songs from Jim Steinman.I totally agree... I'm a big fan of Jim Steinman, his powerful production and Celine's voice go so well together!!!!It's a shame this track wasn't included on LTAL, but at least we finally got to hear it, we should be thankful for that!!!!
