There are a lot of songs Celine did record but didn't made it to the album. don't get me wrong here I do love Is Nothing Sacret but it just didn't fit any of the albums Celine did released the past few years. I am sure there are recordings from 1F4T and One Heart as well not used for the album. and sometimes it is good we don't know about those songs. IACBTMN is also written by Jim Steinman and now Meatloaf recorded it as well. but did you know Céline recorded a song that was meant to be Tony Bracston's and Tony Bracston did recored a song that was written for Céline, and they both had a billboard hit with it. I don't care about WHAT songs Celine sings as long as they fit her and the album it is okay with me. You are not going to place a ballad song on a rock album and not a rocky song on a miracle alike album.

it is such a good song and its a great performance by celine...i love it when we the fans get to hear these gems.....basically we hang on every note released or not !!.....but it is so frustrating that one of her biggest hits all coming back to me....is not capitalised on, the public love that song ...they would love another similar style....its time for a mega ballad....sure fire hit poor decisoion not to include it even as adouble a single ......but then any single at this stage would be welcomed...as long as we get decent video/airplay promotion

If you listen I think this is the track in its early days, kinda like a demo version... its definitly not finished, the same with "Would I Know", its not finished either...

 

You'll find that many artists will record the song and then the producer will play about afterwards... kinda like "Be The Man" the promo CD Celine sings it slightly different in parts... thats because the promo CD was the first release of the track and by the time the album came out the finished version was done and added to the album!...

what i like about would i know and is nothing sacred ...is the raw ..sound its real not over produced and its great to hear her raw voice in all its beauty......its criminal that would i know didnt make an album too....a very catch ballad ....would deffo have been a big hit

I simply love this song. I would love to have it released in some kind of songbook in order to play it on the piano.

My favourite part is the screaming part in the end of the song. It's only one or two lines long but it is so powerful and strong

Amazing song. Her vocals are so powerful in this. She gets critisized for "screaming" a lot of her songs, but the screaming in the song worked, especially towards the end. Really amazing song, it should've defanitly been on Let's Talk About Love.

...meh... it's an ok tune. The version that's in our Multimedia Section could use some work. Fine tune her vocals a tad and adjust the arrangements or orchestrations, and it would have been a good album track. I am not normally a fan, however, of pop songs with real-life people, places or things references, or religious other type references simply because they most of the time either seem out of place or almost tacky, and almost always have a way of dating the lyrics or pigeon-holing the writer as "something". In other genres, yes, most definitely, but in pop music, no thanks.

 

But back to the track I just listened to, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't awful, though some re-working would have made it awesome.

Yeah, for me, it's something that bugs me just about every time it happens. In Miles To Go it's not that bad... but definitely a line of the song that sticks out to me when I listen to the song.

This is one of my favorite unreleased songs. I wish that she would release a cd or cd's (however many it takes) of all of her unreleased tracks and remixes. That would be really awesome. Maybe they'll do soemthing like that after the tour. Is Nothing Sacred should have been put on the cd, it's an amazing ballad and it really surprised me to find out that it was cut.

I totally agree... I'm a big fan of Jim Steinman, his powerful production and Celine's voice go so well together!!!!

It's a shame this track wasn't included on LTAL, but at least we finally got to hear it, we should be thankful for that!!!!
