bellamy - i dont know if u know how it works but before each one of those interviews celine is talking to the hosts and together they deciede what to talk about . they would talk about whatever it is she wants to.

 

and all of u who r saying she is singing playback because of technical problems - it's not true and that's a fact . she sang live during the gala with elton yet chose to sing MHWGO , TLYM , TPOL , IACBTMN in playback during the same event!! - why? because those songs r the hard ones .

also - most of the times artists r playing live in "the view" so it was celine's decision not to play live .

I can understand why she sang playback this time. Although I don't always like it when she does, this time you can see that there was wind, and probably other problems due to weather. I'd love to see some of you guys sing LIVE there!

 

Anyway, I looooove her clothes, didn't really like the interview as they always ask her the same questions. But it's great to see her, as usual.

Maybe because we have access with the internet to see each interview all over the world, it is repetitive for us, but I think it’s also important that in many countries,

this is the only way that the people can know about Céline and have more information.

i have 2 playback versions in my computer that she lipped to the original song - 2 diffrent performances - this is the third .

look - u r entitled to your own opinion but the bottom line is the most important thing here : celine is using too much playback and it's an understatment - not only that she sings all the hard songs in the show in playback even when she is on TV she is using playback this days ...and i'm dissapointent and i know i'm not the only one .

i'm a fan for more than a decade and i probably saw most if not all her TV performances . yeahh she used playback but she NEVER used playbaack in her full concerts like she is using now for all the hard songs...she sang in playback here and there in her concerts but she also sang her hard songs live and hit all the notes without any problem...

it's not just the problem with the playback , it's the fact that when she finally sings live she whispers most of the times and cant hit the hard notes .

and she is using more playback this days because she know she just cant hit those notes , the only times she sings live it's the easy songs and when it's finally something hard her voice is raspy and raw - some of u like it , i miss her old voice .

people got sooooooooooo tired of hearing about rene and rene charles and her beautiful family - as a fan i'm very happy for her but no need to talk about it in each one of her interviews . no talk about the music just rene rene rene reneeeee ughhhhhh . and the thing is - that's the exact reason why she became a joke in the u.s. in recent years , not to mention how much people HATE my heart will go on which she ofcours sang .

 

instead of reminding people how many OTHER beautiful songs she has , she is turning herself into a one hit wonder and that's how people treat her as "the singer from titanic" .

As for the Rene Charles thing. We have to be understanding here. I mean thevoice, haven't you ever been in love (pr for song here) or had a strong passion about something, and then when someone ask you to talk about that person or subject you just bubble over and talk and talk and talk? She has been wanting to have a child for so long and they have been trying so so hard - let her have it.

 

And the song choise (MHWGO) I don't understand it either, it would be the last song I'd choose. But it is a "secure card" (do you say that in English?). Perhaps she felt that it was this song people wanted to hear from her.

Besides which was her last hit?? IDAN? (that too is people making fun of since it is Cindy Lauper's hit). And would it be suitible for the audience? And would it seem desperate to sing a song which was released 3 years ago, wouldn't it be to admit "hey I haven't had any other hit since then". Then I think it is natural to fall back on the monster hit. However I personally don't think that song should be sung in many many years, for everybody's sake.

 

Yes playback is bad, very bad, I sure don't like it either. But sometimes we have to see "between our fingers" (do you say that in English?). And like someone said, I'd rather have her lipping every now and then than have her totally retired.

 

I do see where you are comming from. Been there many times myself. But you have to be patient and let it go.

 

This appearence wasn't so successful according to you (but to some it was). It was some days ago. Let it pass...

Siur was watching the newest episode of "Liveing With Fran". GOSH that superman is gorgeous! ahha Also Fran looking friskey as ever.

 

Anyway gogo, just to put one thing straight - Céline doesn't do more playback now AT ALL. Especially if you consider the ratio: sung concerts and playback songs. She has never ever in her entire career sung so much as she is doing now in Vegas.

 

And please don't make me write down a list of songs that have been sung in playback on every of her tournees since 1993.

Have y read the official biographie (By Germain)? In it, she said that she didn't like " Where does my heart beat now" anymore but she had to sing it cos public loved this song... it's exactly the same here.

You think your point of view is the same for everyone. There are a lot of people who love this song still... in Europe, it is one of the songs the most illegally downloaded although people make laugh at this song.

Maybe she had no choice to sing it : it was a will of the producers. Stop thinking Céline and René have power in the showbusinness.

Moreover, she has no new album to promote.. what song sould she have sung? The power of love ? Love can move mountain?

Not to mention the almost whole lipped concert DVD, TCOML. That's when her voice is so on top and can sing anything at any time. They did it because the concert is a TV special for Disney.
