Yes. The audience of course, but I meant the women who interviewed her, they even interrupted her at times when she wanted to say something.

It is Celine who decided to "write" this book. Although she didn't write it herself, it's her who decided to start this project.

Yes, I understand, it's like My Story My Dream, everyone says it was her who "wrote" it, when in fact it was Georges-Hébert Germaine. I guess when you are such a star, people assume automatically that you write the book yourself.

Have y read the official biographie (By Germain)? In it, she said that she didn't like " Where does my heart beat now" anymore but she had to sing it cos public loved this song... it's exactly the same here.

You think your point of view is the same for everyone. There are a lot of people who love this song still... in Europe, it is one of the songs the most illegally downloaded although people make laugh at this song.

Maybe she had no choice to sing it : it was a will of the producers. Stop thinking Céline and René have power in the showbusinness.

Moreover, she has no new album to promote.. what song sould she have sung? The power of love ? Love can move mountain?

As she had to sing something from the show... she had to sing a famous song.

if celine was connected to her fans and to the people she'd know that people got tired of this song and that she became "that singer from titanic" .

people forgot she has many other beautiful songs - "think twice" was her biggest hit ever in the u.k. for example - did u know it? - she didnt sing that song for sooooooo many years....people forgot about her other songs cause she is just not singing those songs anymore...

 

if celine still think that the people want to hear MHWGO , she just doesnt know what's going on and eventho it's her biggest hit it's also the one song that made alot of people hate her .

still seb - in each one of the shows u could hear her nail those crazy notes in some of her hardest songs...even if she used playback , she also sang LIVE some of her hardest songs in each concert .

and who told her to perform 5 nights a week? it's not an excuse to cheat the fans .

I don't think she nailed them at all - she had already severe vocal problems after the exhausting FIY tour. And you could hear that. None of the LTAL concerts sounded HALF as good as for example her AMAZING Belgium Centre Something FIY bootleg. And that is already the very reason she decided to use playback in her concerts more and more. Cuzz her voice could not sustain the great pressure. It was too much. As it is or would be too much now.

 

Point is she signed a contract and it's utterly futile of you to say "nobody asked her to do so" - of course not but she is NOT gonna change it cuzz she simple must not / cannot. It's past, done signed. You won't bring anything constructive into the discussion by repeating all over again something that is unfeasible.

 

The contract was signed 3 years ago. About 1,5 year still to go. Then let the jazz roll on!

I think the very reason some are ranting here against "playback 'n stuff" is only cuzz they are angry Céline didn't record any new album for March. What they do not seem to understand that this is a very good sign and to rant over her great appearance and her playback is just a way to "deflate"... It ineed sucks she lipped it but it was outdoors AND in Vegas so it's totally understandable.

 

BTW. I just watched her performance once again and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Yes. She always has to sing the song. Even people who don't know other songs they know this one. I think it's more known than Céline herself. It's like Whitney Houston who always has to sing I Will Always Love You everywhere she goes.

I just watched it all. Céline's cute. She looks really good, very healty. She has always looked good tanned.

 

She was nice and seemed as if she wanted to go on and on just talking.

No news I know, but is there ever news in interviews?? It was nice.

 

I can't understand lipping the studio version. It was so obvious. It sounded so light. Has her voice ever sounded so bright when singing it live?? Coz that's one thing you notice if it's live or playback, her live voice is deeper. Or is the studio verison in some other tone?? I suck on muscial terms...

It would actually had been much much better if she had lipped the A New Day version.
