When I went to Vegas in 2004 I wrote to her in advance explaining I was going for a special birthday treat to see "A New Day..." for my 21st birthday and it would be great to meet her etc. Well I never did meet her but on coming home from holiday I arrived to find a very special birthday card in the post!!!

i wrote a letter with a present for celine in october 2007 when i went to vegas, i gave a picture of celine that i loved

and, in january, i received the photo: "pour krystel, love Celine dion"! it was coming from CDA production Ceasar Palace! AAAAAAAAAAAH!

i was so happy!

Good luck to everyone who sent her a letter! Since she is on break, where would be the best place to send a letter, and I need some tips as to what to include in my letter. Should I put my tickets from the Houston concert or my TC cd? Or should I not put anything, maybe a picture of me and my mom. :shrug:

I'm a little late to this topic... but yes, I did get a response!

After I saw her perform live for the first time ever in 2003, I started writing her a letter, the first I’d ever written to her. I re-wrote it, removed and added things - until it was perfect. I almost didn't take it with me when I went to see the show a second time in 2004, because I never thought I'd have the opportunity to get it to her. By chance, I met Michel for the first time during that trip, and kindly asked him to deliver my letter for me. Without pause, he said, "No problem!" He stuck it in his pocket, as I thanked him profusely. Less than a month later I received mail from CDA (Las Vegas), inside was two personalized autographs, one for me and one for my best friend. It was proof that she had read my letter. Because the letter itself was just from me, but I wrote about the first time I saw her perform, with my best friend Ashlee. Yes, we have the same name. And the best part was, she had paid attention to the fact that our names were spelled differently.

My final trip to Las Vegas, I also made a video for her. It was a letter… in a video, if that makes sense. It had words flashing across the screen in between pictures and video footage from all of my previous trips to see her in A New Day… I asked Michel to deliver it, and once again he was more than happy to. I gave it to him on a Wednesday night. I saw the show Thursday, she acknowledged me, but no more or less than usual. Then I saw the show the next day, Friday from the front row again… for some inexplicable reason Céline kept saying “Thank you!” directly to me and blowing me kisses. Many times, in like, in a big - I mean that for YOU kind of way. I was stunned. The thought crossed my mind maybe she had seen the video already, and was thanking me, but I brushed it off thinking she couldn‘t have possibly had time yet. Although I had written on it that it was under seven minutes long, so that hopefully she would have time at some point. Then at the end of my last show that Sunday, she came to me in the third row on the aisle and she held my hand, blew me kisses, and again said, “Thank YOU!!!!!” I finally realized she must have seen the video!

I also sent her a card, to Caesars Palace… it was towards the end of the show’s run. I hand made the card, and it was a short note thanking her for doing this amazing show, and wishing her the best during the final shows. I wasn’t expecting any sort of response, I just wanted to send her something. But I got a letter confirming that she had received my card and that they were to thank me on her behalf. She may have never received it, but I like to think she did -- because why would they even bother to send me a letter saying that she had received it, if she hadn’t?

All you can do is try! Her team is really great about passing things on if you ask. In fact, I remember when Jenna was writing For Keeps, it was talked about that when she was in Las Vegas, Céline requested that everything be delivered to her & that she at least sees everything. When you send something by mail, the odds are not in your favor, but again - all you can do is try. And you really don't have a choice while she's on a break. But don't be too discouraged if you don't get an immediate response, God only knows how much fan mail she gets!

P.S. I remember the birthday card, but I hadn't seen a picture before - it's even specifically for a 21st birthday!! She is so thoughtful. I hope she knows how much the little things she does mean to us.

Hi I the hospital that I work for is putting on a carnival for our Physical Therapy patients. We were hopeing to have a celebrity (singer/actor, doesn't matter) to come and hangout for a little bit. So I was wondering if anyone would know a way to get in contact with either Celine or Rene.

WOW! What a beautiful story. It just proves to me again how pure Celine's heart is. I just don't get how there still can be people out there that hate her... :shrug:

i would write a ltter to see Celine, but there would be too much to say in a letter and i don't wanna sound like a weird stalker, im gonna write her a letter when she returns to caesars palace

I've written to Celine 4 separate times and never got a response. The first time was in 1998, I mailed that letter to the address that was in the FIY insert. The second time was when she was on the Today Show in 2007. I personally gave that letter to Matt Lauer and he said he would deliver it himself (so much for that lol). He chuckled and said "they're all here to see Celine" as if I didn't acknowledge that he was a celebrity himself lol. The third time was the final night in Vegas and the most recent time was when she was in NJ last September for the TC tour. Like Ashley said, it doesn't hurt to try. If you don't get her the first few times just keep writing and writing. Eventually your luck will turn around. I've still got my hopes up. Maybe this 5th time will prove to be a true Celine charm. :wink:

Yeah people, don't get bummed if you don't get a response. Imagine the amounts of letters her office gets each and every day. Many of the people that I have heard from that got a repsonse had some way of handing a letter to her or her crew. Even that doesn't always work. If sending it to her fan club or office doesn't work, just wait for the right timing, it might come around, just be patient. Also just because you don't get a response doesn't mean she hasn't read your letters. :wink:

She wrote: Pour Véronique Love Celine Dion xx...

I'M soooooooo happy. I'll do a scan when I figure why is not working and send it. HAAAA !!!!! SO happy.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!

Its such an unbelievable buzz to recieve something signed from Celine in the post.........

And only ppl on this forum can relate or be as excited for you as you are yourself lol.

If only she knew how much a simple autograph that takes her a few seconds to sign, has such an amazing effect on us, and is something we will forever treasure.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Celine is the most down to earth diva on the globe and she really cares about her fans!!
