I wrote her a letterback in Sept, and back in Nov for a get well card. I have yet to recieve any thing back yet.Now I was wondering now that is will be heading back to Montreal next month maybe she will anwser us.(fingers cross)

I think you have to assume that you are very lucky if you get something back signed by Celine.

 

Think about it. You know when you go on vacation for a couple of weeks, you come back and check your email, and you have close to a hundred or even more! Ok, so for most of us it's usually mainly spam. But imagine they were all emails you needed to respond to. Now imagine that EVERY DAY! Oh and you also have a family to look after and spend time with, several business ventures that require your time and input, and time to dedicate to public appearances and meetings.

 

Do you think you would be able to do something for everyone who was sending an email everyday aswell? Even sit for a couple of hours EVERY DAY signing stuff and writing letters?

 

I would imagine that Celine's close staff will try to bring to her attention the special letters, the ones that they think she will really enjoy. For instance, when I wrote to her in LV, she had, in many interviews, expressed how tired she was feeling, and felt being a celebrity was at times really hard. I wanted to thank her for the time she makes for the fans and tell her what a difference she makes. I'm sure at that time she could do with reading stuff like that.

 

I just hoped that she got my letter, I was excited that I had sent it, and wished for nothing more.

 

I was incredibly lucky, I got a signed photo in the post, many months later. I never take for granted that I am most definitely one of the lucky ones! But really all I wanted was to send her a letter and say thanks. She already gives us so much of her life, it's nice to get the opportunity to give a little bit back.

 

Send her a heart-felt letter, by all means, but, my advice is, don't expect anything in return. If you do get something, it will feel all the more special, if it's a surprise. I know from experience.

I got a reply but not from Celine herself but it was nice to hear back! I gave in a letter at a meet and greet on 15th feb in montreal (well it was taken off me just before I approached Celine by her peeps)

I had also sent her one before by mail with the same pink writing paper. The letter I received back got to me on 10th march and does say 'Dear Sarah....' and thank you for your kind letter and how Celine loves the support she gets from her fans. (I'm thinking off the top of my head at the moment so it's not word for word!) then how Celine would love to respond to each letter but because of her busy schedule she can't etc etc. Then some stuff about how they keep us fans close to her through her official website...hmmm. Not many updates that often on there I must say though!

 

I'm just glad I know Celine has hopefully read my letter now and knows how much I love her <3

i've send her a letter the week before star academie. I send it to Feeling, and I put a picture and an envelop with stamps on it and ask for an autograph.

 

Still got nothing, but I just have hope. I just wish i'm not gonna received a letter from teamceline.

So I said to myself, no news is good news, if I received a letter from TeamCeline I will know that I won't received my autograph.

Team Celine is Sony Canada, and will not send on letters and gifts to Celine....

What ''normally'' happens is that you get a circular letter thanking you for you're support and get a Celine postcard or small perfume sample, and normally the item you sent is sent back, but god knows what happens to the letters...lol.

I'm a little late to this topic... but yes, I did get a response!

 

After I saw her perform live for the first time ever in 2003, I started writing her a letter, the first I’d ever written to her. I re-wrote it, removed and added things - until it was perfect. I almost didn't take it with me when I went to see the show a second time in 2004, because I never thought I'd have the opportunity to get it to her. By chance, I met Michel for the first time during that trip, and kindly asked him to deliver my letter for me. Without pause, he said, "No problem!" He stuck it in his pocket, as I thanked him profusely. Less than a month later I received mail from CDA (Las Vegas), inside was two personalized autographs, one for me and one for my best friend. It was proof that she had read my letter. Because the letter itself was just from me, but I wrote about the first time I saw her perform, with my best friend Ashlee. Yes, we have the same name. And the best part was, she had paid attention to the fact that our names were spelled differently.

 

My final trip to Las Vegas, I also made a video for her. It was a letter… in a video, if that makes sense. It had words flashing across the screen in between pictures and video footage from all of my previous trips to see her in A New Day… I asked Michel to deliver it, and once again he was more than happy to. I gave it to him on a Wednesday night. I saw the show Thursday, she acknowledged me, but no more or less than usual. Then I saw the show the next day, Friday from the front row again… for some inexplicable reason Céline kept saying “Thank you!” directly to me and blowing me kisses. Many times, in like, in a big - I mean that for YOU kind of way. I was stunned. The thought crossed my mind maybe she had seen the video already, and was thanking me, but I brushed it off thinking she couldn‘t have possibly had time yet. Although I had written on it that it was under seven minutes long, so that hopefully she would have time at some point. Then at the end of my last show that Sunday, she came to me in the third row on the aisle and she held my hand, blew me kisses, and again said, “Thank YOU!!!!!” I finally realized she must have seen the video!

 

I also sent her a card, to Caesars Palace… it was towards the end of the show’s run. I hand made the card, and it was a short note thanking her for doing this amazing show, and wishing her the best during the final shows. I wasn’t expecting any sort of response, I just wanted to send her something. But I got a letter confirming that she had received my card and that they were to thank me on her behalf. She may have never received it, but I like to think she did -- because why would they even bother to send me a letter saying that she had received it, if she hadn’t?

 

All you can do is try! Her team is really great about passing things on if you ask. In fact, I remember when Jenna was writing For Keeps, it was talked about that when she was in Las Vegas, Céline requested that everything be delivered to her & that she at least sees everything. When you send something by mail, the odds are not in your favor, but again - all you can do is try. And you really don't have a choice while she's on a break. But don't be too discouraged if you don't get an immediate response, God only knows how much fan mail she gets!

 

P.S. I remember the birthday card, but I hadn't seen a picture before - it's even specifically for a 21st birthday!! She is so thoughtful. I hope she knows how much the little things she does mean to us.
