DionFanAlways Posted October 7, 2013 at 11:06 AM Posted October 7, 2013 at 11:06 AM Well one year ago I was bored, just watching Youtube (Celine stuff) and I saw a video from CDF and so I looked them up! I am so glad I did! I enjoy coming here and reading everyone's thoughts, ideas and opinions for better or worse! I don't go to any other site, the forum is set up so user friendly. I still think we should be official site!! I still find it amazing that we all can be talking to different parts of the world at anytime of the day or night! That fascinates me! (actually, I wish I would of been in on that investment! ) So I look forward to more reading! 4 I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Well, I did so in 2005 but all I did was come, see the news and get a video or two. But in late 2007 I showed up and I can't say I never left because I did take a three year hiatus, but it's always great to be back and to find old friends and make new ones. Thank you to the admins for the awesome idea. And thanks to the posters for keeping it alive!!! Cheers!!!!! 3

I love the forum, too, and it is so nice to "meet" Celine fans from all around the world. My favorite times are when everyone is watching an event all at the same time (like the Quebec City concert this summer!) . it's like being part of a watching party with people from all around the world. It's funny, too, that you mention YouTube, because it was YouTube that sucked me back into Celine. Has anyone else gone through stages of Celine fan-hood? I was completely crazy about her in ca. 1996-1999, when I was about age 15-19. I kept following her more loosely until about 2003, when I stopped caring pretty much altogether (though I still listened to my old CDs every now and then). But then, in late 2011, I heard (of all things) Paul Anka being mentioned on the Gilmore Girls, and it make me think of the Paul Anka/Celine duet "It's Hard to Say Goodbye." I wondered if it was on YouTube, and it was. . . and the funny thing about YouTube is that when you watch 1 video, it suggests 10 more. Before I knew it, I was spending literally hours each night watching Celine videos, falling in love with her again -- even more this time, because there are so many videos and articles about her on the net, from all around the world. And the more you know about her, the more you love her. (In 1997, I only had Oprah and Rosie and whatever American shows I happened to be aware of without the Internet! Oh, the days of watching Vh1 for an hour to hear them mention her for a minute. . ) Registered for the forum in January 2012 and loved it ever since! 3

LuisMa Posted October 8, 2013 at 10:36 AM Posted October 8, 2013 at 10:36 AM Good morning everyone! Just came back from my class and I'm tired. I guess I was more accustomed to teaching afternoons/evenings at the beginning of the year.

We are some of the last generation that didn't grow up with the internet. That makes us unique, not old. Stages of fandom: I couldn't stand Celine at first. I was a music snob-heavy metal/classical- nothing in between. (yes, including my ears). I'm not sure of the exact moment my heart grew 3 sizes larger, it may have been taking chances playing between movies on some television channel. Long story short, I was a professional musician who awoke one day and realized to my horror that I couldn't "feel" music anymore. No emotional connection. No soul. Somehow years later, for whatever reason Celine got through. And for the first time, I "saw" what a beautiful woman she is. I picked up my guitar for the first time in 20 years. While I don't have a soul, I do have a heart thanks in part to Celine. 2 Better the pride that resides in a citizen of the world, than the pride that divides when a colorful rag is unfurled. LuisMa Posted October 9, 2013 at 05:53 PM Posted October 9, 2013 at 05:53 PM That's great. I'm on a break now from my craftsmanship. I'm preparing some posters for my hubby's job. They'll have a Super Mario decoration this month, so I made some stickers and some 3D cubes that will make them look better, I think. I'm working on the sun now, which I need to paint and give some more details. Later, I will be making some clouds out of cotton, and some vines. I have no idea how to make those climbing plants. Maybe I'll go to the park and look for some ivy. 3
