Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:13 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:13 PM I don't remember if it was me or Em, who was with me on MSN messenger, and one of us could go in and the other and the rest couldn't. I hope the ghost is as handsome as the one in the IACBTMN video. I wouldn't mind being 'haunted' by such ghost from time to time.
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:20 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:20 PM Probably the ghost made you say hello to Sherri, because she hasn't been here in eight hours.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:24 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:24 PM Probably the ghost made you say hello to Sherri, because she hasn't been here in eight hours. Then it must also have been the ghost who liked my post from 08:34PM. Most certainly.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:31 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:31 PM (edited) By the way, I've been asked today to be my friend's best man at the wedding. That got me a little bit into "the wedding bells ringing" mood. Check out that video (it's a bit old but still hilarious). Hope you haven't seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrWBjF9zAq0 Edited May 2, 2013 at 08:35 PM by Jeff Abbott 1
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:37 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:37 PM OMG That's so unfortunate but super funny! I love wedding bloopers, but you shouldn't be seeing them, don't jinx yourself.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:42 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:42 PM OMG That's so unfortunate but super funny! I love wedding bloopers, but you shouldn't be seeing them, don't jinx yourself. I couldn't stop myself. Besides, they have no pool so there's nothing to worry about. Still, I wonder if my friend, who is getting married, is a girl, if that makes me her 'maid of honour'?
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:44 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:44 PM I don't know about that, but thank God there is no pool or you would be wondering if you would be her "mermaid of honor" 1
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:47 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:47 PM I don't know about that, but thank God there is no pool or you would be wondering if you would be her "mermaid of honor" She'd kill me if I did something like this. But still this video is AWESOME.
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:50 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:50 PM I think that bloopers are excellent remedies for those days when you seem to be having a bad moment.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:59 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:59 PM I think that bloopers are excellent remedies for those days when you seem to be having a bad moment. Right, to me the best bloopers are from "How I Met Your Mother" and "Will & Grace" TV series. The latter is my favourite TV show ever.

Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:07 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:07 PM Never really followed it. Mine is "Melrose Place", more soap-opery. HeheI guess it never really aired here, I'm more into comedy stuff (you might have figured that out already).
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:09 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:09 PM Yeah, I have! I'm more into drama/thriller/horror stories.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:11 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:11 PM Right, I forgot to ask you (how rude of me ) how was that lesson with your students at the airport? That was a great idea.
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:16 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:16 PM It was awesome! I prepared a nine-page handout with a brief history of the airport, customer service expressions and vocabulary. I told them to read the first part on the way there, so when we got there we went to a huge hall, seated and had a discussion. Then we went all around and I showed them the main parts of the airport, had them go over the ticket counters and information centers to get some info. We had a ball! It was a really nice field trip. Thanks for asking!

LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:31 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:31 PM Thank you, dear. Yes, for me it's also good, as I like to do new things all the time in my lessons. I've never taught the same course the same. I'd get bored. 1
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:39 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:39 PM And that's the right approach. As long as I can remember, my English classes in high school were like a never-ending story of boring (the same grammar drills and almost no speaking in L2).
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:41 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:41 PM In whatever profession, I think variety is the spice of life!
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:46 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 09:46 PM In whatever profession, I think variety is the spice of life! The funny thing is that because of that 'variety' I got into trouble with my better half (if you know what I mean).
