LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 10:25 AM Posted May 2, 2013 at 10:25 AM (edited) Hello, Sherri! And bye! I'm about to go to the airport. Not that I'm flying, but I'm taking all my students for a lesson in airport vocabulary, common situations that happen there, and customer service experiences. I think it's gonna be fun! Talk to you at night! Or if I'm bored, during my commuting. Edited May 2, 2013 at 10:25 AM by LuisMa 3

Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 03:43 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 03:43 PM (edited) David, what were you doing up so early? I know , the thing is that my neighbour had this party, she invited some friends over, it was ok until they've decided to call it quits. They've been 'saying goodbye' to one another for like an hour or so. In the meantime, there was some dancing in the corridor, some loud phone calls, drunk love declarations, last rounds of whatever they were drinking etc. (No need to mention they were all plastered). My dog didn't really like such 'guests' and he showed it quite clearly. That'd be it. No sleep for me from then on. I bet they were celebrating the Polish Flag Day. Bell Posted May 2, 2013 at 04:22 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 04:22 PM And what would happen if you told them you don't want to go, or you have other plans? They won't be happy. Anyway, today was OK. I mean, we had our not so good moments but still... You know, they're probably trying to make it up for things they should've done for me in the past. Now I definitely don't need to spend as much time with them as I used to when I was younger. However, they seem to not see (or pretend to not see) that it's a little late. 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER

What did you do to celebrate that? Or will the celebration take place today? They won't be happy. Anyway, today was OK. I mean, we had our not so good moments but still... However, they seem to not see (or pretend to not see) that it's a little late. Well, at least you had a good time. Geez I remember when I was 21 and I was furious to think that my parents thought I still was a child. But they will always see me as their little child in my eyes, that's for sure. Trying to think if i didn't forget anything in my packings Don't forget not to forget anything you might forget! Have an awesome vacation!
Bell Posted May 2, 2013 at 06:59 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 06:59 PM But they will always see me as their little child in my eyes, that's for sure. Yes, I guess all parents are like this. No matter how old we are, we'll always be their children. But I believe there's a line they shouldn't cross once we get 20+ and try to start leading our own life as adults. 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:10 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:10 PM Hi guys, be with you in a minute.

But I believe there's a line they shouldn't cross once we get 20+ and try to start leading our own life as adults. Yes, I agree. Thank God mine saw the line at more or less 22 or so. Hi guys, be with you in a minute. Ok, dear!
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:23 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:23 PM (edited) Ok, about that 'party', it may seem hilarious now, but today at 3a.m. it definitely wasn't. I'm sure they didn't even know such a day existed (it's a relatively new celebration). These guests were high school graduates who finished their school a couple days ago and they were still in a mood for some fun. Well, I can't blame them. I myself would love to stretch my limbs a bit. Edited May 2, 2013 at 07:25 PM by Jeff Abbott
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:25 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:25 PM (edited) You could have crashed the party and shaken some booty! Edited May 2, 2013 at 07:28 PM by LuisMa 1

Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:31 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:31 PM Hi Sherri, how are things in your neck of the woods? 1
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:36 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:36 PM So, you would rain on their parade.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:38 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:38 PM (edited) So, you would rain on their parade. It all depends on the kind of 'rain' we're talking here . I hope I got that right. Edited May 2, 2013 at 07:39 PM by Jeff Abbott
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:40 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:40 PM I wonder why my past post appears indented.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:46 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:46 PM I wonder why my past post appears indented. Not a clue, when I write my posts the Enter key doesn't seem to work either.
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:59 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 07:59 PM There must be the ghost of the forum coming back to haunt us. I remember a few years ago that no one could get in the forum but two people and you could not see what was going on, but there were just two people posting and posting.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:05 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:05 PM Let me guess, you were one of those two 'chosen ones'.
LuisMa Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:07 PM Posted May 2, 2013 at 08:07 PM I don't remember if it was me or Em, who was with me on MSN messenger, and one of us could go in and the other and the rest couldn't. I hope the ghost is as handsome as the one in the IACBTMN video.
