My neighbor's dog chewed off almost half of the package box that was left there because I wasn't home. Glad the stuff inside seemed fine.

Need to figure out a way to get the French forum to be more lively. :whistling:

Lol, if it's not the delivery guy damaging the package its some stray dog. At least it wasn't damaged! :)

They're French.............................................. offer champagne and baguettes for witty posts (sorry, that was very stereotypical of me :giggle: )

I never post there anymore because it's so... different? And some of the nice people that posted there are not here anymore. :(

 Sherri, my neighbor told me his dog did it when he went outside.

At least he was honest and did not come up with some lame excuse like, "Oh it must have been my dog when I turned around and left him alone for a minute" like has happened to us in my country.

Thinking about my dad. 3 years....god. I didn't even think I'd survive the first. While I may be a day early, it's heavy on my heart and I need to let it out. 3 years ago, I lost the most important man in my life....my dad. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him in some shape or form. Whether it's listening to Queen or watching Wily E Coyote and Roadrunner (among other things), I treasure the 20 years I had with him. I love you dad. RIP. 6/16/1942-1/12/2010

I'm sorry about your dad's passing.

There will not be any day that you have left in this world when you don't find his presence still with you. And that will give you the strength you need to keep living and doing the things you want and like.

Such a sad story... I'm lucky to have my both parents still alive but my best friend lost her father when we were 12. He worked as a fire fighter and got so seriously injured around the time she was born that he spent those last 12 years of his life in a wheelchair. My friend and I were too young back then and never really talked about this. I regret it now. I didn't even ask how she felt (pointless, I know 'cause it was obvious how she felt but still...). I should have done/said something then. Now I feel it's too late. I dno't want to make her go back to that painful period and discuss it with me. Anyway... I got a little carried away. I think Luis is right. Keep living the way you want and you'll make your father happy and proud of you 'cause he's up there, watching over you, your every step, and his soul feels your love for him.

Just hold onto those day to day memories. They make your legacy special. I lost my dad in Dec. 03. and I have difficult days but it does get easier with passing time. :)

^ Very true. Losing my granddad was very hard for me, but sometimes when I'm having a crappy day or I think I'm gonna snap I look up into the sky, picture his smiling face, and I get calm. :)

OMG :puke:

I bought the most horrible brand of cigarettes today in an attempt of reducing the amount I'm smoking. I don't think I will be able to smoke any of them, as it tastes like s***. :lmao:

I guess by thinking that I have to smoke that crap, I'll be horrified, so I'll finally call it quits.

Lol! Have you tried those electronic cigarettes? (if they have them in Spain)

It's water vapor but it still gives you the nicotene without the other "bad" stuff!

Well, ok then, that answers my question! hehe :whistling: Yeah, some people have that reaction

Second comment: Luis darling!! Stop answering me! I feel I have to reply back out of kindness and respect and courtesy :giggle: :P (I blame it on the way I was raised)

Don't worry! You don't have to reply to everything I answer. That's probably one of the reasons I have the forum set not to notify me when someone quotes me, or I'll also feel the need to reply back all the time. :P
